The staff were very helpful and welcoming! It was a quirky boutique hotel. Issues with light in the elevator and hall on our floor. But other than that, was wonderful! Loved the neighborhood - quaint and beautiful cafes and gelato nearby. Great access to several metro stations and bus stops. Would recommend to those who don't mind a bit of quirkiness. It was charming.

The room was clean and a decent size for Paris. The bathroom did not have a shower just a hand held shower head in a bathtub which was inconvenient and annoying. The staff member on the front desk was very reluctant to call me a taxi to get to the airport which is something hotel staff are usually very happy to do.

A delightful small hotel amidst the business of Paris. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, (though some of the paintwork was a bit tired). The lift was a bit of a tight squeeze, but there was also a spiral staircase. The staff were friendly and offered helpful advice about the locality.

Friendly staff. Carpet VERY worn. The room is small, but we were more concerned about costs and knew what we were getting. The bathroom was fine except the tub had a half wall and there was no way to take a shower without spraying water everywhere. I also did not like the lack of a safe for valuables. The key fob was enormous, but I took it off the ring while we were gone from the hotel and then put it back on when we checked out.

The staff was so helpful and friendly and the area was great. But… the carpet was really dirty, there was a 1/2 eaten candy bar in the minibar, and the bathroom floor was really dirty. When we checked out, they had us listed as taking 2 waters from the minibar, which we didn’t. They fixed it, but not very observant since they didn’t really check when the previous party checked out. Would we stay again, probably not.

Whether or not it was a joyful experience I would rather say it was a moment of discovery. This petite bijoux as it is well known by only a few that are connoisseurs of the area has many secrets. From the deco that has been tastefully chosen, in particular the vibrant paintings placed around the hall and the breakfast room to the amicable staff, the hours passed. It just needs a fresh update to make a stay infinitely pleasant.

Absolute joke. This hotel has not been cleaned properly for years. Hair stuck on bathroom walls, rusted fridge, disgustingly stained carpet. Dust collected and stuck on things from years of being there. Live socket. Extremely dangerous. There is no way on earth this is 3 stars. It is barely a bedsit.

The room AC at this hotel periodically cuts out and doesn’t restart. This led to us having a TERRIBLE night, with the room getting up to 29 degrees. The worst part of the experience was that when I told the desk staff they denied that it was true. For any unfortunates who already have a pre-paid reservation at this hotel, apparently quickly double-tapping the “on” button will get it to restart (can’t actually confirm). But the main point is that it is NOT OKAY for the AC to shut off during a heat wave, and for a room to get hot enough for the guests to wake up in discomfort, and it is really NOT OKAY to behave like they’re crazy when they complain about it. I will also note that our bathroom did not have a shower, contrary to the Expedia listing. A bathtub with a hand wand is NOT a shower. Starting every day crouching in the very deep, hard to climb into bathtub while holding a hand wand over one’s head isn’t a fun way to start the day. I also have to admit utter incredulity at the idea that this is a 3 star hotel. Maybe different rules apply in Paris. But based on the aged furnishings, small rooms, bashed up paint etc. this would be a 2 star at best in any other part of Europe. The location is convenient, close to 2 subways stops, and near lots of restaurants, a laundromat, small groceries etc. But in spite of that, you couldn't pay me to return.

Rooms are small by American standards, but still nice. Staff lock the front doors and after 8 pm you have to ring a bell and wait to be let into the property. Close to everything you need while visiting the city.

Great location. The AC was not available and that’s a problem because is a very busy street. This may have been particularly hot.

Nice little hotel in a quite area of the arrondisement but close to it all.
