Loved we were greeted by the cat with no name. Check in was quick and went out of her way to look up availables places to eat as it was off season and much is closed. Two steps from the Basillica.Most comfortable sleep of our trip.Grateful with our broken french they spoke english instead.

This old atmospheric hotel is in a great location right bearcthe Monastery with parking 10 minutes away (Vezelay is pedestrianised).
Their restaurant La Terrasse is definitely worth trying, the English manager is very friendly and helpful.
The beds and bedding were very good quality and so we slept well.

A lovely place to stay whilst visiting Vezelay. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help us find a lost iPad. Would highly recommend staying at this wonderful hotel with air conditioning when you are travelling in the middle of a heat wave. 😃

The room has an electronic air freshener because a sewer smell comes up the pipes
Very noticing in am and when showering
Unwelcoming reception. Did not tell me there was elevator in this 300+ year old building and we carried luggage to very top via narrow stairs. Incompletely, purposefully? Gave info re parking. Beams in room low, despite being careful I banged my head several times

Vezelay is a wonderful old town, with a great cathedral. Well organized. The hotel is very nice, recently refurbished with taste. Clean and very pleasant. The staff is efficient, not terribly friendly.
