ibis Pontarlier

Excellent welcome from receptionist/waitress. Clean room with all basic needs met for an overnght stay with good bed and pillows. Well lit room. Some noise from next room. Poor choice in restaurant. No dishes of the day and no entrecote at 7 pm, which was the only appealing dish. Snall portion of sausage with 2 boiled potatoes and slice of ham with chips very overpriced, as was the wine.Very disappointed.. Breakfast selection also poor value at €14,50. Very safe large car park.. Convenient for access from Motorway.. fast foid restaurants and supermarket bearby.

I stayed here for work travel. It was clean , comfortable bed, decent size room and good shower. Staff where friendly and helpful. It is so close to some amazing countyside.

Hotel is ok for overnight, basic.

The hotel is right next to a big supermarket (open till 8pm) and theres McDonalds a short walk away too. The restaurant in the hotel is good and fills up in the evenings. Loads of free parking and close to town if you want to go out and about. Close to Switzerland and a small border crossing that is never manned 😉

We stayed here one night. It is a little dated, but clean and has a large shower (which was very appreciated after a long days drive). Would stay here again.

Well I like to walk into town centre find nice restaurant but actually came back ( after few drinks ) and ate.at the hotel

Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room - the bed was great- you just sink into it. So lovely! Great evening meal.

Always great and comfortable. Visiting the Absinthiades for 3 years in a row now and always stayed here.Staff is very nice also and the food is very good also.

This is a standard Ibis located on the edge on town by a retail park. It is about a twenty minute straight walk into town. The weather meant we ate in the hotel the first night and had a really good meal. We decided to do the same on our second night but the staff seemed overstretched and the meal was only average. On our second morning a new style of buffer breakfast was introduced, referred to as ‘Market’ which was a noticeable step up from that the day before.

Captive audience, very basic rooms, poor choice of food. Food quite unpleasant and tasteless.

Good comfortable hotel with everything needed. A bit of a walk into the main part of town - nice in good weather. We really liked the guarantee that if there's a problem they can't fix in 15 mins, the stay is on them!

Hotel was easy to get to; staff was friendly and helpful; room was clean and large shower; breakfast was typical.

Stayed at Ibis with friends for a weekend as we participated to the Absinthiades. Couldn't have wished for a more helpful staff. With our not very good speaking of french they were very helpful with taxis and practical things. Céline in particular. The food in the restaurant was also very tasty as we dined there. Rooms were big comparing to parisian hotels. The distance is a bit far from the center, but with helpful staff it's no problem at all. Will stay there on my next trip 2015 too!

Hôtel en général propre et refait Salle de sport et sauna un plus La literie est très moyenne et peu confortable (sur matelas) Et pas de bouilloire dans la chambre … et malgré qu’on paye le petit déjeuner on doit payer pour une tisane ou un café en plus … si l’on a le petit dej ça devrait être inclu Personnel sympa
