Nice relaxing stay just outside the city. Everything was comfortable and the service was nice. The wifi only worked intermittently. Nice views from the terrace and there's a good bakery and a spar just outside the hotel which was very convenient.

We enjoyed a week here and found the staff friendly and the room comfortable. There is a pool onsite with deck chairs & shade from trees. There's a little beach within a 5 minute walk, but we found that it was too hot without shade or chairs. Within a 5 minute there is a supermarket, bakery, pizza/bar called Atout pizza and an upmarket seafood restaurant. The onsite restaurant is open for breakfast & dinner. There is a reliable bus service into Ajaccio which costs 1 euro and takes 10-15 minutes. The bus stop is no more than 5 minutes away. We took our own kettle & purchased long-life milk every day (as no fridge/tea making facilities in the room).

The hotel could use some renovation. It is quite basic. The furniture is old. The TV in the room is extremely small. The air conditioning is very good and silent. The bes sheets and towels were taken are daily. However the room could use a deeper cleaning once in a while. There was a lot of dust inside the wardrobe. It is not close to a nice beach, unless you have a car or ready to walk for about 20 min. There is a bus stop close by that takes you there but the schedule is a bit uncertain. I have not booked breakfast in the hotel, which i am glad since there is a very nice bakery down the street.

Our stay at Sun Beach Hotel was nice but I recommend you head to town for dinner. We haven’t used the pool but saw quite many guests did and seemed to have enjoyed it. There is no close access to the beach or at least we didn’t find it but luckily we had rented a car. Staff are friendly and the room clean and big enough for two.

The hotel stuff is extremely friendly and helpful. Superb cleanliness and lovely hard working cleaner from Portugal, she was so friendly. The room is basic but the sea view is fantastic. Location is good, regular bus service, every 20min to get to Ajaccio center by bus no5, or beach buses, no 5 & 2, easy to get around. €3 per person per ride, you can reuse the same ticket within one hour. Nearby bakery sells coffees so have a perfect bfast there, open every day 7am-8pm. Real French experience. Spar shop next to it, very convenient. Restaurants nearby are very expensive so head to town, you will be spoilt for choice, most restaurants offer a 3 course meal from €16-€19 pp,good value for money. Ajaccio is beautiful, get a tourist train , €11pp for 1 hour 30min, great experience.

Nice pool, though could do with a few more sun loungers. It's very basic, but for the very reasonable price offers a very convenient place to stay for a few nights. There's plenty to do nearby as well, with a small beach just down the road, but much better ones just a few hundred metres to the west. Some reviews say the hotel needs updating, but in my view everything worked fine, the staff were very nice, the rooms comfortable, and the air conditioning had been put on full before we arrived.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very late at night and the restaurant was closed yet the person on reception was more than happy to make us coffee and make us feel welcome. It was only when we awoke the next morning that we fully appreciated the sea view and the large balcony that we had. Bed was very comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. Location may not suit everyone but there is a bus stop right outside however it only runs until 20.00 approximately. We like to walk and were happy and felt safe walking back from town. Probably around a 30 min walk. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

A little bit out of town. We stayed one night only, before flight back home. A little dated in appearance. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool, 20m long and good deep end. Rooms clean and comfortable. Pleasant outside terrace for breakfast.

Had been staying in Calvi and decided to have an overnight stay in Ajaccio before catching Ajaccio-Toulon ferry. Clean comfortable hotel. Didn't have chance to sample the swimming pool, which was locked by 6pm but it looked very inviting. Unappetising menu posted in lift meant we decided to eat out - only realised when we got back and saw the varied and reasonably priced menu in the lobby that menu in lift was probably just for the couple of coach parties also resident.. Did think the days of French (and Corsican) hotels with timer switches and very dim lighting in the corridors were gone - still going strong here!
