Damn beautiful and amazing in the heart of Paris

I was disappointed by several issues during our recent stay. Despite emailing ahead to confirm a twin room, we arrived to find a double. Although reception promised a change the following morning, it took a second request and another day to resolve. Furthermore, our initial room was affected by a strong smell of smoke from next door which was very unpleasant. We specifically booked this room for the jet bath, but it was nearly unusable. The controls were unresponsive, and the water temperature fluctuated between extremes. On Sunday, the bath malfunctioned entirely; when I turned the jets on, they sprayed upward uncontrollably, soaking my clothes and flooding the bathroom floor. It took five minutes for the system to respond to the "off" button. These outdated and faulty facilities turned a relaxing feature into a significant stress and I was highly disappointed. This was a huge shame as I specifically picked this room for the jet bath and felt that we were sold a room that was not fit for purpose. The staff were lovely and the area was great but the bath situation definitely tainted it as it was extremely stressful!

Everything was perfect. Great service, great room and nice cental location. Staff was very helpful and delicious breakfast.

Hotel is classic and boutique style. Nice view of Pigalle square with balcony. The room is old but clean and charming. I was looking for this kind of atmosphere. All staffs are friendly. They speak good English. The room has a fridge and a safe box.

The hotel's online pictures are inconsistent with its actual appearance, as the building appears old and worn on the outside, with paint that differs from the online images. However, the staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous. The interior, including the rooms, is impeccably clean. The location is safe and convenient, with nearby stores and restaurants within walking distance.

The front desk staff is THE BEST!

We loved the decor of the hotel but most of all the very friendly and helpful staff.

The staff at the front desk made my stay so amazing! They were all so kind. I can’t wait to come back! They made me feel at home. The hotel is a treasure with beautiful rooms and a very instagramable environment/elevator.

They’re not kidding when they call the place baroque! Enjoyed my stay but would have been better with a fully functioning internet.

The room was very clean and quiet. Just down the road from the Moulin Rouge and metro stop just down the way. A bit far to walk from the main city center but all-in-all would stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful. I loved the way it was decorated. Toilettes need update, besides that everything else was perfect! Very friendly staff.

The hotel was economical and that’s it… the bathroom door handle kept falling off and the shower head malfunctioned and soaked my wife in hot water.. probably won’t be back to there or Paris .

The service was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was quite charming and the hotel is in a vibrant location. My only downside was the rooms are not soundproof at all. I was three floors up and I can hear everything from the street even with the windows closed. I could also hear people speaking very clearly from the hallway outside my room.
