All the standard stuff you'd want. Now, if you're a digital nomad, they police their lobby area pretty tightly so you don't get to just settle down, order a glass of water, and stay for six hours. They'll hand you a menu if you're not moving on fast enough from dining areas. I had a problem in which someone took my bunk in the ten-bunk room. Reception switched me to a new room with no issues. Easy peasy something about lemons. Good place to stay. They'll treat you right.

Fabrika is pretty good as far as hostels go. The mattresses and linen are hotel quality, and the atmosphere is vibrant and interesting. What lets it down is the cleanliness and maintenance of the toilets and showers. Out of 13 showers in the men's bathroom only 4 are operational - looks like the others have been deliberately disabled. The floor and shower stalls are very dirty, I noticed they were not cleaned at all for 3 full days, maybe longer. In such a busy hostel I don't think that's an acceptable level of service - when only 4 showers are available. Also why is the light so dim in the lobby toilets? I need to use my phone flashlight to see anything, a bit of a divey, grimy feel. Another gripe is the incessant cigarette smoke in the back yard. It drifts into all the rooms, and it's just a bit sad to see all these young Georgians trapped into such a detrimental and unnecessary habit - Fabrika, why not be brave, take a stand, and ban all smoking from your premises? Be a leader, you'll see, it will be great!

The graffitis in the neighborhood are nice, there's a big supermarket called Fresca which is open 24 hours, around 5 mins walk away. The metro station is only 8-10 minutes walk away too. The hostel was clean, the lobby looks stylish but unfortunately the place lacked a hostel atmosphere as it was full of people working on their laptops or locals who wanted to catch op with their friends and not talk to travellers. There are signs in the lobby too that the tabels are reserved for people who purchase food/drinks. The hostel didn't have any activities for travellers when I was there - only 2 walking tours for the week in the area. They don't serve breakfast, at least I wasn't told they do so so I was getting my own food. If you are a solo traveller and wanting to meet other travellers, generally I wouldn't recommend to stay here, just pop in for a drink or some food.

This hostel is not very backpacking travel friendly. The lobby is used for all of the locals from the courtyard bars. During the day the lobby was filled with children doing their online school. It was hard to meet other travelers at this hostel as it was so large and the lobby was filled with locals and people doing online business.

Great place to stay. Pros: -CHEAP -Super comfortable beds with good AC in the rooms -Really cool building -Courtyard with a very social atmosphere. Lots of locals hang out here and it is very easy to make friends -Walking distance to the metro -Easy to grab a Bolt or taxi, always drivers parked in the front. Cons: -There are not really good places to refill a water bottle. The only option is go into the kitchen in the basement which is a bit of a trek. -The kitchen is very small for how large of a hostel it is. -The bathrooms are frequently disgusting. Not really the hostel's fault since they are cleaned daily, but something to note. Many of the showers are out of service. -The hostel makes you pay for a towel. I will never not complain about this. It is a little forgivable since board is so cheap, but really?? It is like being charged for a fork and plate at a restaurant.

My husband and I stayed in Fabrika many times before. We usually book a private room and we love it. There are many great options of where to stay in Tbilisi but everytime we travel to Tbilisi we try to stay at least one night in Fabrika because we enjoy hanging out in their "back yard" there you find a few bars and restaurants, we always got to Shio Ramen because is the best Ramen in town. In addition, Fabrika has a great breakfast.
