Athens Marriott Hotel

Terrible Marriott and way over priced. Food was awful and along with drinks way over priced. A two minute walk to Restaurant Rodia where the food and drinks were very good and at very reasonable prices, highly recommended.

Very comfortable

Nice property, enjoyed happy hour, enjoyed the drinks on the rooftop. Caught a beautiful sunset. Dinner was good, food just needed less salt

Small room and old

Everything about this hotel is lovey. My only icky wasn’t repeatedly asked the bellmen to allow me to handle my own bags coming in and out and they literally refused. I even asked the front desk if it was mandatory and she said no. They literally kept me from taking my bags and I didn’t like the pressure from them.

Breakfast menu should have some variation. It was same every day

There are two primary concerns to address: the hotel's distance from local amenities and the cost of parking. While street parking is available at no charge, and the hotel itself utilized this option for our vehicle, the hotel's parking rates are notably high. Furthermore, it is strongly advised to avoid room 412 due to significant noise disturbances from the elevator, which can severely impact sleep quality. Over all its not worth the money we paid.

Phone didn’t work one day. Breakfast was disappointing and hvac wasn’t cooling very well.

Staff and clean room

Staff was extremely friendly. Very good customer service. Restaurant staff was very responsive and food was very fresh. Hotel was very clean and didn’t encounter any negative employees. I would definitely recommend this Marriott and would definitely visit again.

Room was very ugly and basic for a Marriott. Needs remodeling. Felt like a holiday inn.

Wonderful

so far it met the expectation although quite pricey . The Asian restaurant is just fair food wise . Their sushi is so dry and not good.

Breakfast buffet was Ok

Love both restaurants, rooftop bar and the rooftop pool. We were disappointed that the game/entertainment room was only available for private parties, which is not how it is advertised.
