This resort was absolutely incredible! From the mouthwatering food to the friendly staff, every moment was a delight. The easy access to the stunning ocean made the experience even better! We were greatly pleased with our stay at this resort, the staff there were all exceedingly friendly. We visited several resorts and this was the first one where we found the food from starters to main dishes, and even the desserts, to be absolutely delightful. The only minor inconvenience we encountered was that the water in the shower was constantly leaking, and the door to the toilet would not close, we did inform the reception about this, and they assured us that they would send someone, but unfortunately, no one came.

The room was very basic for a 5 store hotel. Basic bed and with only two pillows. Air conditioning was not working - the door was closed appropriately in order for it to turn on, but it was warm. We told reception but nothing was done. We stayed in a room with a private pool which was nice, although the water was freezing cold (and we went in late August). Definitely recommend a heated pool. We had a half board - the food was great. We didn’t have a chance to use the amenities.

The hotel grounds and greenery were extremely well kept up. The buffet breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was basic but internet was reliable. Television was mainly German with some Greek channels which makes sense as the majority of the guests were older Germans. The pretty beach was very accessible and swimmable,got lounger with no problems each day. Negatives- horrible smelling cleaning products used especially the lobby (overpowering) and the area around hotel is not very walkable.

In the advertising the beach was not described properly. It was very small ( maybe 10m)and not clean. Also if you’re looking for all inclusive it will be place for you. We wouldn’t have booked. No other negatives. The hotel is in great location.

A bit outdated, but overall a great property. We stayed for 3 nights. Had a bit of an issue with the bathroom flooding when we showered, not quite sure what caused it...I was also quite surprised that you can't get an iron if you need one. You can only use the hotel laundry services which of course will cost you. Excellent, quick and attentive service at the restaurant, the food was amazing both at breakfast and dinner! I quite enjoyed the stretching and aqua dance classes offered by the animation team from Forever Fun, but definitely recommend they use microphones when conducting them!

A nice hotel, very quiet with good pools and great food. Easy access to beach with wonderful opportunity to witness baby turtles leaving their nests. Staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Downside very strong wind for most of week which meant red flag was flown as sea and under tow bar area too dangerous to swim in. A holiday maker drowned ! Although their are warnings on beach and life guard became more proactive after incident all guests should be made aware of the real danger upon arrival. Life guards only on beach from 10 - 5.30 p.m .

They offer various plans of food service for the buffet style offerings. The food preparation, freshness and quality and the service are really excellent for these reasonably priced offerings. The hotel is welcoming, the staff is well trained and sincere in the services offered. Lots of attention to the details. One caveat: Make sure you have clear directions if you are driving to the hotel. No signs from the hwy and there are different hotels within the complex.

The grounds and the beach are beautiful, as other reviews state. However, the rooms and bathrooms could use quite a bit of upgrading. Reception staff was nice, but dining staff could have been nicer. The food was ok. It was acceptable, but not particularly special. I would recommend in the end due to the beach mostly, but would encourage lower expectations than the ones I had.

Despite the hotel being 'adults only' the staff were extremely welcoming to us bringing our baby daughter. The other guests didn't seem quite as welcoming as they were expecting a child free break! Hotel is very clean and the food selection in the buffet is excellent. The waiters and waitresses were very kind and accommodating and treated my daughter like a little celebrity... We only stayed for one night before setting off on the next part of our trip on the island, but I would have been happy to stay longer. Well done Creta Royal!!

The Royla Creta was fantastic! We opted for the breakfast/dinner provided "half board" option and could not have been more delighted. Our server Irianna was very attentive. The food was prepared with fresh ingedients, plenty of options and delicious. The staff was attentive and provided everything we had asked for. The beach location as well as two pool options proivded something for each guest. We would recommend this hotel 200% percent!

I were there with my wife. Hotel makes good impression, good service and rooms are in good conditions, beach is clean and near. But there is absolutely nothing to do in hotel. So you'd better rent a car and drive around to see plenty of ancient places and taste real national food and wine. You won't regret.
