We had garden view for our stay , love it , very peace and green when you sit outside the balcony . For the price we paid you can’t ask too much amenities. Breakfast was delicious and fresh !

Second time in Varres Hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They welcomed me back like I was family which is heartwarming. There are still Covid conditions, but overall they are coping very well. The guys on the front desk are brilliant. The breakfast too. Thank you all for looking after me. I will be back as soon as I can.

Varres is close to (walking distance) to Zakynthos Town and Tslivi. When I stayed it was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff. The room was very comfortable with good air conditioning and lovely views over Varres. The pool was immaculate and the pool bar served good food and drinks. All in all I can’t fault it despite difficult circumstances. I would recommend Hotel Varres and believe I will return.

Lovely hotel between Zante and Tsilivi. I’m quite active so walked to Tsilivi in about half an hour and Zante town in Twenty minutes. Rooms clean but a little basic but doesn’t detract from the ambience of the place. Staff pleasant, and helpful and breakfast tends to be the same everyday but more than enough for anybody. A great hotel at a great price in beautiful surroundings, will definitely book again .

It was a nice hotel which was clean and the staff helpful. The biggest issue for me was location as I had forgetten / left my driving license at home. It was so far out of the way of anything lively if you did not have a car. Very little public transport at this time of year, and too far to walk anywhere in the nice weather, So it cost me a fortune in taxis. I also felt like the only English person there so felt quite lonely at times whereas I think it would have been different in a livelier area. I would think about staying there again if I could hire a car though and be with company.

Lovely hotel in the quiet hills about 1 mile out from the town centre. Perfect for a quiet start to a holiday, and especially if you have a car or bike. If not, taxi service is good. I liked it so much i might come back on my last night of trip.

While this property was lovely, and clean,it advertised a childrens club and restaurant. Both of which were closed on my arrival. I mentioned this to reception, who explained due to it being low season the resturant would open in the the evening only, but he would be happy to order a take out! I choose this property based on there being a childrens club also for my 8 year old son. Thius was not open. As it was low season there was not a lot open, other than in the main town, So having no childrens club was a big disappointment. It should be clearly advertised when the childrens club would be open. The childrens club opened the day of our departure so my son was not able to even enjoy one day at the childrens club as we left at 10am that same moring, very disapointing. This location is very lovely but no local amenties, you need transport.

Stayed for five nights right at the end of the season. Had a wonderful stay, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food a little basic but plentiful with unlimmited amounts at breakfast, filled us up for the whole day. Visited the bar most nights where we were looked after very well,given free bar snacks and treats we didn't expect and very generous measures of drink at very cheap rates Hotel a little shabby in places and the pool freezing but easily overlooked having too much fun!

The common area of the hotel, like reception, pool and restaurant are very nice and they have a very friendly staff. However, the room itself was really bad. The bathroom had a horrible smell, like sewage smell all the time. We asked for a double bed as we are a couple and they gave us a 3 twin bed. I didn't understand why as the hotel wasn't full. They had many available rooms out there. Although the staff was friendly and the hotel well located I would not stay there again because of the accommodation, unfortunately.
