I had a really positive experience at Marmara Hotel!!! I was on a trip with my mom, grandma, and sister and our rooms were comfortable, clean, and connected by an outer door so even though we didn’t have the same room, we had a shared space which was really nice! I was very impressed with the staff at the hotel!!! They helped me get a ride to the airport scheduled in advance and were very responsive and helpful about that. The hotel was also a great location that made walking to everything very feasible!!! We arrived before check-in time so our rooms were not ready but they allowed us to store our luggage which worked perfectly. Would absolutely recommend others to stay here!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Marmara. The location was great. The rooms are small, but clean. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Glad i could open the window for freash air. Staff was all friendly and helpful. I recommend

The hotel is in an excellent location and is close to the centre of the touristy area. The hotel's facilities were good, only thing that could have been improved is it had a mini fridge to store things. Staff are really friendly and helpful too.

We had two bedrooms. One bedroom was simply smelly (sewage) and in the other bedroom the glasses and mugs were dirty. The rooms are beautiful but need to be better cleaned. Breakfast was good but tables had dirty items on them.

They have no internet at the property. You will only get wifi in the lobby in the mornings, even then it is extremely slow. The staff know this issue, but pretend that the issue does not exist - they laugh about it. Extremely unprofessional. I was staying for work, and needed to use Wifi and not have to use data roaming. The AC does not work, it spits out hot air only, the thermostat is broken. Towels provided had marks on them, the bed sheets were not done properly. Do not understand why this is a 4 star hotel.

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful and professional staff.
The hotel is in a great central position in the city but the street where it’s situated belies the lovely interior. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast; limited buffet style & not particularly appealing but there are lots of nice diners and delis close by to make up for this.

Well located hotel for sight seeing in Budapest. Would stay again. Walkable to many sights including parliament, St Stephen’s and opera house. Well situated for public transit. Quiet hotel, helpful front desk staff.

Really wanted to like this hotel more but on two days did not get room service - towel service, refresh room. Contacted front desk and they were responsive. We did not take breakfast buffet b/c at 15 Euro found that a little pricey. Room was fine. Internet speed in stone age - slow. Surely a modem-router-4-5 G upgrade is needed. Close to the Nyugati train station and you can walk to hotel however get your walking directions before arriving because there is NO tourist information counters at the train station. The tram yellow 4/6 will take you anywhere in this lovely city.
