Klettar Tower Iceland

This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. We met one other couple while we were there & they showed us some amazing photos they had managed to capture during their stay.

Really good place, tower as a nice view. Well furnished and dinette good.

Make sure you can navigate flights of circular stairs while carrying suitcases.

This was a fantastic and very unique stay. The builder took fine attention to perfectly planning the space and executing the construction with excellent quality. We loved it.

This was the last night in Iceland after camper vanning it all week. And, i must say it was an experience. The drive there, the surrounding area, and the beautiful view from the top was phenomenal! The room was very clean and modern feeling. I felt like a James Bond villian in my tower. We got lucky and were the only people there, so we had the tower to ourselves. I highly recommend this stay for a unique night with amazing views!!

An amazingly unique experience!

Really interesting lodging! Beautuful viewing tower for seeing surnise, sunset, and northern lights. I would have preferred a more robust door to separate the bathroom from the rest of the room but great otherwise. Really nice lighting and use of the space. Only 15 minutes drive from Secret Lagoon!

Both our room and the viewing room were as described. Very nice

The owner was very responsive to cleaning our room after someone else had gone in our room on the wrong date. It was appreciated that the problem was resolved swiftly.

Beautiful observation deck, you are sharing with 3 other apartments but we were lucky and had it to ourselves that night. Great use of space, lots of outlets, small but effective and well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, very nice bathroom with good space. We loved our night here!

Lovely idea although not the nicest during high winds. A little scary and noisy at times.

Very cool property to stay in. The room was excellent and the viewing tower was amazing.

The only issue we had was getting the door open. We used the given code but the door was stuck. It was difficult to deal with on the incredibly windy night that we arrived. Other than getting in, we loved the tower. The coloured lights were a nice touch.

I really wanted to love this property, but it just was not as advertised or as I expected. The listing makes it seem like you have the place to yourself, but there are 5 total apartments in the tower and a shared space up top (the photos with the great views are shared space, not private space). This may have been fine, but the noise was severe. It’s metal stairs outside so you can hear every single person coming and going, and hear all footsteps of the people above you. It was so extremely noisy I was having to wear ear plugs and play music to drown it out. For what I thought was an expensive, luxury stay, it ended up not being that at all. The place is really cool and a great location, and the room itself was fine and cute, but the noise and shared space makes it a spot I would not recommend.

Unique place to stay with a surprising amount of amenities. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, warm, and spotless. We wish we could have stayed longer. We appreciated the place even more after looking through at the photo book in the top of the tower and learning the construction was a labor of love and completed over several years by the family that owns it.

This was THE best stay we’ve had in Iceland. Exactly as described and shown in photos. Beautiful property, easy to get to, well equipped and beautiful room. We watched sunset & sunrise from the top floor, amazing views! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Iceland.

It’s a five star hotel feel.

Very unique property with one of a kind experience, very clean and no issues with the self service check in. Room is very small though.

Easy check in. Very unique property. Convenient location to Golden Circle. Definitely would recommend.
