Overall it's good, but I experienced getting stuck in the elevator, maybe the elevator needs rejuvenation.

I stayed here for a week and 2 days, it was very comfortable and all the staff were very helpful, especially Ms. Kels at the restaurant, thank you for being very helpful and I will definitely stay here again every time I go to Jogja.

The room was nice and well-maintained, and the hospitality was excellent. The place is aesthetically pleasing, with every corner suitable for photo opportunities. It's also conveniently located everywhere in Jakal, so it doesn't take up much time. You can even walk to a nearby coffee shop just a short walk away.

There are plenty of food and beverage outlets around the hotel, so you won't have to worry about finding food outside. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and perfect for small or large families. Breakfast is delicious, with a variety of fried rice and pasta dishes. Recommended for families.

My stay at ARTOTEL Yogyakarta was generally pleasant, largely thanks to the exceptional staff. The service, particularly from the front desk team, was excellent—they were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and provided a high standard of professional hospitality throughout my visit. The room itself was comfortable and quite spacious, with a clean bathroom. The amenities were thoughtfully tucked away in a drawer beneath the sink. The air conditioning unit worked well and kept the room cool, and the television was standard (not a smart TV, which was fine by me). Although the room was mostly clean, I did find a minor oversight: some residual powder on the desk surface left by the previous occupant, which was the only small drawback to an otherwise tidy space. A persistent minor inconvenience was the AC; it did not activate automatically when I inserted the power card, meaning I had to manually turn it on every time I entered the room. For connectivity, the WiFi was functional, though the speed seemed limited to approximately 10Mbps per device. The breakfast and food options were okay, offering a fairly wide selection typical of most hotels. However, I found the dining area layout a little restrictive, with most seating configured for four people instead of having more tables designed for two. Finally, be prepared to make a deposit of IDR 50,000 upon check-in. As I didn't have cash with me, I was only provided with one room key card instead of the standard two, which is something to keep in mind.

It was a nice hotel, near most of the places I went to. The staff was helpful as well!
