We love our stay here, they have renovated the room very nicely, well done. Even though they are not under any international chain anymore, they keep up their standard and services. Bravo. Great breakfast variety too. Will definitely stay here again when coming to Jogja again for our repeated Borobudur trips.

The staff is friendly, communicative, and very responsive, and the service is excellent. I stayed here for two days and extended for one. While exploring Jogja and leaving the hotel, the room was always cleaned, so when I returned to the hotel, it was clean and fragrant, all amenities were refilled, and towels were replaced. Very comfortable.

My first two-night stay at Ambarukmo. The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a minor issue, but the staff immediately resolved it. The kids' activities were really helpful, including the playground, swimming pool, and other play areas.
The hotel is located next to a mall, about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, but it's not that far.
I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

My first time staying at the Aveon Hotel. My first impression was the alertness of the security and front desk, who, even in the pouring rain, promptly parked our car and held an umbrella for us to the front of the hotel. When we arrived at the lobby, the staff were also on standby, allowing us to quickly check in and check into our room. The room was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room, the water, and the hotel overall were very satisfactory. The location on the northern ring road makes it easily accessible from all directions.

Staying at PORTA by The Ambarrukmo truly provided an extraordinary and memorable experience from arrival to check-out. The comfort continued into the room, which was very clean, fragrant, and neatly arranged. The soft mattress and pillows successfully ensured maximum sleep quality, plus all the in-room facilities were very complete and functioned perfectly. Another attraction not to be missed is swimming or simply relaxing on the What the Deck area while enjoying the view of the city of Jogja—and Mount Merapi on a clear day—in the afternoon, it felt very calming. As for culinary matters, breakfast at Havene Restaurant was very satisfying with a variety of local and western menu options, all of which were delicious. The location is also super strategic on Jalan Colombo, making it very close to the campus area (UGM/UNY), culinary centers, and easy to reach if you want to go out of the hotel. The entire experience was enhanced by the incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive staff, making everything feel efficient. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for staycations, family vacations, or business trips because the price is commensurate with the facilities and services provided. I will definitely stay at PORTA again when I visit Jogja again!

The hotel staff was extremely friendly. I booked a room for my honeymoon and received a free upgrade, probably because the room I booked was full, and the amenities were free. We booked a total of 4 rooms (3 Deluxe Twin Rooms and 1 Deluxe Double Room), and our stay at Grand Altuz Yogyakarta was a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish, especially since we arrived during the high season two days before Eid. Prior to arrival, we were well-received for our requests for adjacent rooms and an extra bed. Considering the hotel was quite busy at the time, we were very appreciative that everything was ready at check-in, ensuring a smooth process. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff were friendly and communicative. One of the staff, Ardian, assisted us from the beginning, patiently and clearly providing information and updates regarding our requests. There was also a small surprise, a complimentary slice of cake, in the evening, which made our stay even more warm and memorable. Overall, the hotel's coordination and service went well, even during the peak season. It's suitable for those traveling with family or groups, as requests are handled quite neatly. Thank you.

Our first stay at the Grand Orchid Yogyakarta was yesterday, September 25-26, 2025, with my husband for a vacation in Yogyakarta. Everything was highly recommended. From the moment we arrived, security was on hand to direct us to the parking area. The customer service was also excellent, friendly, greeting us with smiles and polite words. When we arrived, we happened to be on the 9th floor, specifically in room 906, located in the far right corner, so we had a view of the street in front of the hotel. The room was quite spacious and clean, both the bedroom and bathroom. The facilities were also quite good. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, complete with a clean interior and outdoor area. Overall, for those of you who are looking for a recommended hotel in Yogyakarta, please try the Grand Orchid Yogyakarta. 👌🥰
So... we will be staying at the Grand Orchid Yogyakarta again next time with my husband and family. 😍
