The location is very strategic, just a short walk to tourist attractions.
The room is very comfortable, the bathroom and room are clean, the hot water works, the AC is cold, and all the facilities are functioning.
The swimming pool is clean.
The staff is very friendly.
In the evening, they serve fried noodles, coffee, snacks, etc. at affordable prices and the food is delicious.
(My son even wants a house and a room like this inn.)
This inn is highly recommended.
We stayed here for 2 nights.
If we go to Yogyakarta again, we will stay here.

I highly recommend the accommodation—it's clean and well-maintained. Early check-in is allowed, and even those arriving at dawn are well-served. The housekeeping staff are elderly but kind and friendly. The accommodation features a Javanese feel that makes you feel at home. The rooms are also clean, and the water heater works well, even though it rains in Jogja.

Amazing stay experience. At first I was a bit scared because the homestay was a bit quiet with classic decoration. But actually comfort is the main priority. Extraordinarily clean from the entrance of the homestay to the room. Although the model is classic, there are also modern touches, especially in the bathroom. The bed is big and soft, there is a TV and a fairly large wardrobe. Don't worry because towels and amenities are also provided. The service is very friendly and helpful. The distance is very close to Alun-alun Kidul, just walk. Delicious breakfast, there are 2 choices of local or foreign menus.

This cozy homey place is on the 1st list to stay in the center of Jogja. You might want to staycation here. Huge fans for the trees! Morning's bird songs? It's real here, for the birds are there in the trees and we can actually enjoy them from the front yard. Its cafe is a gem for coffee addicts! Mas Fajar and its owner are kind, friendly and helpful in many ways. I love them immediately! My 5 kids love this place in an instant! I definitely will choose this place again to stay with my family.

This is my first time staying at a guest house, and it’s super comfy. I really love the hospitality and the ambiance. Every spot feels like a grandma’s house—very warm and clean—with lots of gardens and plants around, which makes the place feel relaxing. They also have a café bar. I stayed in both the dorm and a private room. This was probably one of the best hostel stays I have had. Both dorm and private rooms were super clean and comfy. Staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. If you wanted to socialize, there is a main area for people to connect. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a chance.

The location is very calm in a street with a lot of trees and plants. Neither car nor motorcycles traffic so that we slept very well. The Kraton can be reached walking, the hotel is very central. You can drink tea and coffee offered by the hotel. Breakfast available in the neighborhood easily. The staff is very nice and helpful: our luggage was broken and the staff could make it repaired during our stay. Strongly recommended!

This is my first time staying at a guest house, and it’s super comfy. I really love the hospitality and the ambiance. Friendly Room at Garser Homestay
Strategic location, if you want to go to Yogyakarta Palace, just walk and get there and it's only about a 7 minute walk. Friendly staff, comfortable place. Feels like staying at grandma's house 😀. If I go to Jogja again, I will definitely stay here again.
