Although we arrived quite early at 1 PM and I expected to wait, the staff actually let me check in at that time without me even asking! That was really great! And the hotel is so beautiful. I tried the massage and it was good! The breakfast buffet was also amazing with a variety of food. Would love to stay here again when I visit Surabaya next time!

I had a very pleasant stay at Bumi Surabaya City Resort. Location: Perfectly located in the city center with easy access to everything. The surroundings are green and peaceful, which makes it feel like a relaxing escape even though it’s right in the middle of the city. Service & Facilities: The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The check-in/check-out process was smooth, and the hotel offers plenty of family-friendly and activity options. Wi-Fi connection was stable as well. Room Comfort: The room was spacious and had a nice ambiance, making it very comfortable to rest. Cleanliness: Everything was well-maintained—the bedroom, bathroom, and overall hotel area were spotless. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for both leisure and business stays in Surabaya.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Mr. Nyoman was nice and very welcoming when I arrived at the hotel and seemed lost because it is the first time I stayed there. The hotel ambience was good. The room was spacious, having a bath tub is a plus for me. The hotel location is strategic, near TP. Will be staying here again next time I visit Surabaya.

It’s very nice hotel to stay. Classic and cultural atmosphere. This is the second time I stay here for biztrip purpose in Surabaya area. Surely I will be back to stay here again soonest later once I have a chance. Budget friendly hotel with outstanding services.

I don't think the minimum cash deposit of 500,000 Rupiah is necessary, as the room doesn't have a minibar. Besides, what else would you want to buy there? Unless the minibar has a variety of drinks and food.

My least pleasant experience staying at a 5-star hotel compared to nearby hotels. The welcoming staff was very friendly, but upon entering the lobby, check-in wasn't so welcoming. Breakfast was also full, so we had to wander around looking for a table, with no staff or duty manager to help. Since we had a toddler with us, we struggled because there was no baby chair, and dirty dishes weren't promptly picked up. Credit goes to the cleanliness of the room and the hotel facilities, which were okay.

I hope the room can be brighter, because with the curtains closed, the room is dark. Especially at night, it still feels too dark with the lights on, and the bathroom is even brighter (going from a dimly lit room to a brightly lit bathroom is uncomfortable). It would be nice if the room were brighter.
