We absolutely loved our stay at Jati cottage. We were really sad to leave. Our room exceeded our expectations on arrival. Our room was accessed up our own set of steps, we had a large private balcony overlooking the pool. 2 double beds side by side which was perfect for our needs, there was also a sofa in the room. The bathroom was spacious. The pool area is stunning with plants surrounding the pool giving the ground floor rooms privacy and giving the pool area a really tropical feel.
Free foot massages were offered along with tea and a snack at the pool side.
We only ate once at the hotel and the food was delicious . We were able to order via WhatsApp for drinks and food to the pool or our room. We didn't use the spa as we ran out of time but it sounded lovely.
The hotel feels small but quiet and not crowded. Close to shops and bars but you feel tucked away and it's so much quieter.
Staff were so helpful and parking on site for taxis meant it was easy being picked up and dropped off.
We are genuinely going to miss Jati cottage so much, and would highly recommend.

Loved staying at Jati Cottages over the holidays. Staff was very friendly, pool was wonderful, and the breakfast was tasty. The only concern I had at all was that they charge 3% for credit card payments, which was upsetting, because I haven't encountered that in Indonesia at all in two weeks.

Perfect place to stay in ubud! Is a short walk to ubud town centre and there are plenty of warungs and cafes near the hotel too. There is a good massage parlour next door too. I would stay here again!

The location is in the heart of Ubud.
Rooms are so luxurious with a pool view.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Jati Cottages. This was my first visit to Bali and I was visiting solo. Jati Cottages made me feel so welcome. Little touches such as the bedtime story each night, mosquito repellant and water bottles in the room were fantastic. The room was very comfortable, I loved the large balcony and the shower was incredible! Breakfast is well worth including in your booking as there was plenty to choose from and it was really tasty. The pool is wonderful and the whole place has a feeling of a peaceful jungle but it's just moments from the city. WiFi is also great, which isn't always the case in Ubud. It is at most 30 minutes to get to some of the main temples and places like the Yoga Barn are closer, just a few minutes away. My only small complaint is the cost of taxis and tours are more expensive than in town and the added premium didn't encourage me to book direct, even though I would have preferred to. Other than that, I would definitely return to Jati Cottages when I come back to Ubud.

Lovely pool, decent breakfast and wonderfully polite staff - they stayed up very late because our flight was delayed and made sure we were comfortable!
The rooms aren’t exactly sound proof though so need to keep that in mind when booking!

Couldn’t have asked for any better for the price. Staff couldn’t do enough for you! Room was clean comfortable and very big. Sun beds were comfortable and provided towels. Bathroom was large and the shower very powerful and could get very hot. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

Amazing place. In a slightly quieter area about 15 min walk to the hustle and bustle. Pondok Bali Spa directly left of Jati Cottage gives the best massage value for money and Jati healthy breakfast was delicious I had it every morning. I will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jati cottage. The staff were lovely and the room was pretty decent. The pool was super and great to relax by after a day of siteseeing. The room itself was clean and catered for all our needs. Shower pressure was weak and temperature a bit temperamental but ultimately didn’t bother us that much. Location is fantastic as it is close to the centre of Ubud but far enough away for some peace. You can rent a scooter from reception which we did for 2 days to do site seeing and for ease. Much easier and safer to drive scooter in Ubud compared to places such as Kuta and Seminyak. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would return in the future. I am very fussy about where I stay so that means a lot coming from me!

Pool is great and breakfast was good. Unfortunately I got stuck in the room facing the street so it was lacking the ambiance you see online. The hotel and room were clean and the bed was comfy but the walls definitely could use a fresh coat of paint as some mold was visible (albeit typical in this climate). The rooms along the pool seemed much better so try to get one of those if possible. It looks like some nights it is priced in the $50-70 range and that price is fair given its slightly far location. I paid $116 though and it definitely wasn’t worth it, especially given I stayed at Barong Resort and Spa the night before for less money and got a private pool and my own Balinese daybed on my private patio.

Amazing value for money. A really nice hotel with very friendly and helpful stafff. We had to walk a little bit (not too much) to get to town, but we preferred that than been in the middle of the clogged area. No Restaurant other than for breakfast but just on the side there is a hip and delicious restaurant so no need to have one at the hotel. Very nice pool and green areas. There was only a minor topic with the shower wall which was not perfectly clean and you could see some molds.

A great value small hotel in convenient location in Ubud. Rooms are spacious and modern. Gardens and pool area well maintained and very bali! Staff very courteous. Walk to yoga barn and restaurants. Breakfast Ok. Only lacks taxi avalability. Family friendly.
