The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is good, the bathroom is spacious and can be light directly from the outside but there is no small shower for the toilet. The front view of the room is also really good.

I stayed one week with my husband at La Bangkat Homestay. We initially booked for 2 nights and then extended 5 more. The family who owns the place is extremely kind and arranging. The first room we booked (the villa) had a TV but not working so instead the owner lent us a scooter one day for free. We booked a normal AC room for the 5 extra nights, which is pretty similar except that there is no hot water (who cares in such a hot weather), no TV and slightly smaller. The place is slightly outside the main road where all the restaurants and coffee place are but it was perfect since it was super quiet. That main street is about 1 km away from La Bangkat, so just a few minutes away with a scooter (that you can rent for 50.000 rupiahs a day, ie. 3 euros). The swimming pool is also nice and very clean. The breakfast is amazing: delicious pancake and a huuuuge plate of fresh fruits or a fresh juice. There is a water dispenser that you can use at any time freely. Beds are comfortable, AC is working properly, there is wifi even in the rooms. It is not a luxurious place, it is simple but nice. There are sometimes water shortages but it never lasted long and this is just what happens in Lombok. I really recommend that place.

Good place with a great pool. Rooms were comfy, although my bathroom needed a bit of repair. Spacious rooms and nice outdoor seating spaces. I really liked the location, which was away from the busy centre of kuta, but an easy walk (don't listen to reviews that say you need to drive/ride!). Rented a car for a day to go out to the beaches. This was a little expensive, but easily organised, and the owner man gave us a ride back to the airport for a reasonable price.
