Rumah Mertua is a lovely, small, peaceful oasis in a busy city. All of the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The small hotel is tastefully decorated with local Javanese furniture and art. Guests gather around the pool or in the beautifully-landscaped courtyard and small open-air restaurant in friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed talking to guests, mostly European and Latin American - we were the only guests from the US during our stay. You can choose many options for the included breakfast, we loved the banana pancake, and they have a full menu for other meals or snacks. We took advantage of their laundry service (excellent) and a driver and car (a safe driver with excellent English) at very reasonable prices. The only drawback is that the hotel is a bit far from the center of activities in town, so we had to rely on taxis, but that also made for a prettier environment and mostly residential neighborhood. Rooms are small, but the shared areas are so inviting that it works well for most guests.

A memorable stay I stayed for 3 nights on business. The staff was very friendly. I borrowed an iron and a prayer mat, and after checking out, I left my suitcase for a few hours. They were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was à la carte, so please order it the night before. I didn't use it. The room design has a traditional vibe. Some reviews said it was dim, but there were bright lights. The atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for those busy with business during the day. The linens were clean, and the mattress was soft. Cons: There are only one power outlet near the bed. The hotel sign is difficult to see at night, so I missed taxis a few times. Highlight: Surprise, there's a hair dryer in the restroom!

This accommodation is listed according to advertisements and pictures. The service and also the people are friendly puol. Only minus less clean. There are still cobwebs * / small animals * / the smell of the room is not fresh, let alone the bathroom. 😊🙏.

Seriously, this is a cheap inn that is super duper clean and has very complete facilities. And feels homey, the swimming pool is spacious although a little dirty. But the atmosphere is very nice and quiet. But for those who don't like dim light, don't come here, because the lighting is dim. Hehehe. But it doesn't matter to me, because the important thing is that the room is very clean and fragrant and spacious too.

Untuk standar hotel bintang dua ini fasilitasnya di atas standar banget. Tempat menginap ternyaman di jogja. Kasur bantal oke, amnities lengkap, lokasi tidak dekat keramaian jadi enak untuk mencari ketenangan, tapi lokasinya tidak terpencil banget juga. Petugasnya ramah-ramah. Ada hairdryer, kulkas dan water heater juga di kamar. Untuk kamar standar area teasnya jadi satu dengan 3 kamar lain. Kalau mau cari yang ada teras sendiri bisa tipe diatasnya. Kolam renang juga oke. Pokoknya nyaman banget! Bakal balik kesini lagi. Kamar dan fasilitas terawat sesuai dengan yang ada difoto.

Good service with a comfortable quiet occupancy and adequate facilities. Check in process fast check out. The staff is friendly and helpful. For breakfast by room service or dine in the package menu during the pandemic there is no buffet. Get a room even though it is a standard type but complete room facilities. I was given a front office room but I asked for another one and was given it near the swimming pool (213) thank you mba fo who is duty 16 January 2021 (sorry forgot his name). Maybe the front area of the hotel needs rejuvenation and improvement of the television cable in the room and the room concept is more perfect if the mini fridge is covered according to the room theme. Overall recommended.

Best cheap hotel so far. Receptionist and staff are very helpful, prices are okay, rooms are simple but complete (minibar, hairdryer), okay pool, simple but awesome breakfast! Just a suggestion that the mineral water in the room is better replaced instead of using plastic, a small teapot dispenser is provided in front of the room so that it goes green. If you go to Jogja, it will be a subscription, thank you, the house of Maraming Maraming Salamat PO Ganda Ang Hotel in law.
