Absolutely loved our stay at SereS Springs Resort! From start to finish, everything was amazing — the staff were so warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help with anything we needed.
The hotel itself is stunning — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature. Our room was spotless, with lovely ambient lighting, daily fresh water bottles, complete toiletries, and the most gorgeous view of rice terraces in the background. It felt relaxing and happy the entire time.
The breakfast buffet was phenomenal — tons of options, fresh fruits, juices, hot dishes, and attentive service. We looked forward to it every morning! The front desk staff always greeted us with a smile and were super helpful in arranging taxis and anything else we asked.
Next time we’re in Ubud, we’ll definitely stay here again — no question. Can’t recommend it enough!

We weren’t very happy here, I’ll start with the bad. The staff seemed a little unfriendly at times especially considering how amazing most Balinese staff are. We would ask for a pretty simple request and it would often be met with a ‘no’, for example to borrow a towel from the spa, to have a spare sarong delivered to the room… etc…
The food was an absolutely diabolically priced!!! $38 AUD pre tax for a burger is absolutely insane. $34 for their signature Indonesian dish, which was nice but that’s more than I’d pay at home. The quality was okay, but not even very good. Massage was I think $120 an hour? I’m sorry but no… that’s crazy. Cocktails $18 but just not up to the standard you need to be at for $18 bucks.
We got food delivered because the food was way too expensive and just not that nice away and the reception would kind of awkwardly laugh as if we were doing something wrong…? Just not a nice vibe.
$8 for a cab into town, again that’s actually really expensive! I got a bluebird for $2? Just felt like they’re trying to rip you off. Weird with their taxi rules, but whatever.
The interior furniture is over the top and quite tacky in my opinion but we all have different taste.
The room was nice, and we got a free upgrade which was very lovely! But again the bath was weird you couldn’t lie down and had to sit in the middle or everyone would see you half naked. My

I loved my stay at SereS! The resort is beautiful and conveniently located (although location was less relevant for me because the tours I booked had direct hotel pickup and drop off). I had a five night stay here, which is quite a while, and I felt at home at SereS - the staff truly make the place and I didn't want to leave. My room was large and gorgeous and clean and the massage therapists are really great - I had several services at the spa over the course of my time at SereS. I want to specially shout out Sari, Mundari, and Trisna at the spa as well as Sunjayar, my room attendant, the staff who always dropped off my dinner when I ordered in-room dining (which was almost daily) and the staff at the restaurant, who knew me by name at some point because I would go for breakfast every morning. Hospitality in Bali is exceptional pretty much everywhere and SereS is no exception - five stars for this resort and its staff, I would totally recommend! Thank you to everyone!

I really loved this property and hated to leave! Everything was wonderful. The property is so beautiful and serene. The staff were magnificent. Everyone we encountered was so professional and helpful and nice from the front desk staff to the staff in the restaurant to the housekeeping staff. Everyone always welcomed us with a greeting and a smile. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view from our room was amazing. The spa services were excellent! This resort was hands down the most beautiful place my husband and I stayed at during our Bali trip. From the moment we pulled into the driveway to walking through the main lobby and into our private pool villa—everything just felt super luxurious.
The staff were all super friendly, and the service was great. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly all around the resort, which was a nice bonus. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and our room was always stocked with fresh water bottles—housekeeping made sure to refill them every day.
They also have laundry and room service if you need it, which was super convenient.
Overall, we had an amazing time and would totally stay here again!

This was a beautiful and nice hotel with fantastic view. The reason for poor rating is the location. The hotel is about 30 minutes of drive to nearest restaurant or shops. Each time you have to hire a taxi to go out. Also, if you have mobility or physical issue, forget this hotel. You have to either climb up or down about 20 to 30 stairs to get to your room. If you want to stay in the hotel and just enjoy the view and do nothing else, this is a nice hotel. Otherwise a terrible hotel. Eree the staff was very nice and friendly and very helpful.

Amazing resort. Really luxurious especially the villa style rooms with private pool. Definitely suited towards romantic getaways versus kids friendly resorts. A must try experience where you get getaway from the busy town centre and have peace and quiet. There also many activities available including yoga sessions however we travelled with our son so didn’t take advantage of it. There is also a kids club area with ball pit, children books. Would come again if staying in Ubud for complete relaxation from stress. 24/7 WhatsApp communication was really convenient.

This place is amazing. Everything was beautiful. The bathroom was almost as big as the room and the soaking tub was the highlight along with the private villa pool. The online pictures do this place no justice. If I ever go back to Bali I will be staying at this resort again. The only downside is all the steps if you stay in the villas. There is a ton of steps that you will have to walk up and down without any access to an elevator.

On our second leg of our trip to Bali, my wife and I stayed in this very nice secluded hotel sanctuary called Seres . What an absolute gem of a hotel. The staff was amazing, kind and courteous, always willing to help with a smile. Dian greeted us with the most amazing professional attitude and warmth.
The grounds were stunning, secluded in the lush green fields of Ubud, our stay here was magical. A private villa with a private pool.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay in.

The online pictures do this place no justice. If I ever go back to Bali I will be staying at this resort again. The only downside is all the steps if you stay in the villas. There is a ton of steps that you will have to walk up and down without any access to an elevator.

Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve been to just shy of 50 countries. The staff were amazing, the facilities are flawless and every detail from the bamboo entrance to the decor in the loos are exceptional.

On our second leg of our trip to Bali, my wife and I stayed in this very nice secluded hotel sanctuary called Seres . What an absolute gem of a hotel. The staff was amazing, kind and courteous, always willing to help with a smile. Dian greeted us with the most amazing professional attitude and warmth.
The grounds were stunning, secluded in the lush green fields of Ubud, our stay here was magical. A private villa with a private pool.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay in.
