Da Vinci's Hotel Derry

We were advised that some refurbishment works were happening in the restaurant on our arrival but where told this wouldnt affect us as we were in the opposite side of the hotel. We soon found out early the next morning that this wasnt the case, woken by constant pneumatic drilling that sounded like it was coming through the wall.... on inspection it was..... as it was the bedroom right next door to us that they where drilling in. We went for breakfast, tired, waited for over 10 minutes for someone to arrive to seat us. Then when we were finally seated, our order was taken and left with the kitchen. No-one came to the kitchen to even start to cook the food for another 15 minutes. I asked for sausage, soda and bacon. I got 2 sausages, the tiniest piece of soda bread Ive ever seen and two very small pieces of what I can only describe as fat (which should have been the bacon - it looked think the actual bacon had been removed! Anyway after staying here once before in the past and coming back to have a relaxing stay, it was awful. There are some nice hotels to stay in Derry, I certainly couldn't recommend this one.

Photos of room that were advertised when booking did not match what was provided. Room dated and extremely dark. Clearly given a room that hadn't been updated however paid just as much. Breakfast and staff good.

Good variety for breakfast. Room was ok, Bathroom needs refresh, old, holes in tiles, bath suround.

The Da Vinci Hotel is on the outskirts of Derry, which makes it ideal for day trips in the area. It is also a short drive into Derry. The hotel has well appointed, spacious rooms. The breakfast is wonderful with a godd variety of food. The staff are very personable, friendly and professional. Thank you for a great stay in Derry.

Excellent hotel, clean comfortable, great bar and restaurant. Beds were very cozy and shower was amazing compared to others we stayed at. Would highly recommend this hotel and stay again. Breakfast was excellent as well.

enjoyed our stay! Elevator down the next morning. Tried to adjust temperature in room. Found temperature adjustment the next day behind curtains on unit. Very friendly and Caring staff. Bar area excellent . Facilities need a little upgrading/ TLC. Water drainage in bathe hand sink and tub very slow,

Easy to find. Friendly staff. Building looked/felt run down. Was close to docks and close to The Old Docks Bar and Grill.

Very friendly, convenient with restaurant and bar attached. Room was very nice. Path by the river was close. They are working on fixing it up. Key lock needed maintenance a couple times.

Hotel is older but they are doing great job updating it! Rooms new and beautiful! Staff was very friendly and helpful!! Shout out to Flo shes a gem!!!

We held a party at the hotel and the staff were so helpful. The food was delicious. We has a fantastic evening.

Staff were extremely accommodating. Area 1 mile or so from downtown so had to take a cab. Breakfast was good. Hotel rooms and halls outdated.

Bank holiday weekend trip for golf and touring. Great location and great hotel with friendly service, good bar, grest food.

Visiting friends and family and had a wonderful stay. Great improvements to this hotel since I last stayed here. The staff on the front desk were super.
