Dromhall Hotel

Beautiful hotel, great location, helpful staff. Gentleman from the night staff went above and beyond guiding and building an itinerary for our day trip around the Ring of Kerry. Highly recommended.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean. Loved that they have a water tap at the entrance to fill your water bottle. Walkable. Easy parking.

Great soot

Having prevously stayed in two modern hotels on our tour, the Dromhall is older, more traditional and rather grand. It is a short walk to and from the town centre and parking was ample, but at times of the day only just sufficient for those staying or visiting. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the inclusive breakfast, part buffet part served, was excellent. Our room was comfortable and quiet, our only concern being that although it was merely warm weather the room was rather stuffy as the windows can only be opened a little bit. A fan in the room mitigated this to some extent. My wife finds stairs difficult now so we were reliant on the lift. Note singular and our only complaint about the Dromhall is that it was small and the slowest lift we have ever known. Lift capacity at the hotel appeared to be strained when busy, especially as house keeping also have to use it for their trolleys.

Beautiful property with easy parking and access to city streets. Within walking distance of several restaurants. Breakfast was available for 20 euro pp but we didn’t eat there.

We were looking at several hotels and two of the criteria were a king bed and A/C. Not sure how we missed those but both were lacking in this hotel. It did get stuffy and we would have slept with a bigger bed and A/C. But, the hotel is very nice, service was excellent and in a great location.

Beautiful room and lobby. Friendly staff. Plenty of space in parking lot. Short walk to downtown. Easy access to Killarney National Park and Ring of Kerry. Would definitely stay again.
