First, let me start by saying I’m a very difficult person when it comes to hotels and this met all my standards The staff was absolutely amazing, always helpful, always attentive, super efficient professional I can’t speak better of them The property perfect amenities amazing everything was literally great I typically don’t even leave reviews for hotels because they always disappoint me in someway so I prefer just not to leave a review in this case it was absolutely perfect

Lovely positioned up market hotel, but expensive to eat and drink here. On top of anything you order will be a table cover charge per person and 15% service charge. When you settle your final bill, look at the discretionary service charge, this will be 5% of your total hotel booking cost, in our case 238 euros. You might be happy paying this or have this removed as we did. The service is good you are constantly attended to by the staff. One lift was intermittently out of order which left one working. Breakfast was 40 euros each plus cover charge, we couldn't book this at the time of booking the hotel, it wasn't offered. It is a good breakfast, hot and cold food in a great setting. The sea is not good for swimming, there is not a beach and steps are difficult to access in and out the sea. There is a small floating jetty but i wouldn't jump off as the the sea is shallow and rocky on the seabed. Once in it is safe to swim, not for children though.

Staff were amazing. Helpful, friendly, The room was beautiful, the pool lovely. Unfortunately, the water was shut off for all of our last night (no warning) . Still no water in the morning - no shower- no face wash. Staff said it was the city. I think they should have adjusted our bill to somehow compensate for this major inconvenience.

This was one of best places we have ever stayed. There is an amazing view from every place on the property and the location is so calm and tranquil. The rooms were incredible and service was impeccable. The breakfast is something our group is still talking about and missing. Being so close to town but in such a peaceful and beautiful spot was amazing. We were celebrating my birthday and staff did a great job making us feel special. Perfect spot in Taormina!

The property is beautiful. The staff was excellent. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The restaurant(s) on property were pretty terrible. Paid €20+ for the worst Caesar salad I have ever had. Aside from the breakfast, the best thing we ate on property was a club sandwich. Our room has a gorgeous view but quickly got a dank, stuffy, mildewy smell/feel when the slider to the patio was closed and mosquitoes and bees flew in when it was open since their was no screen door. You can’t really walk anywhere to get basics like water, snacks, groceries and getting to town involves a gondola that’s beautiful but costs €10 and often has a 20 minute line to wait in. A taxi up to town was anywhere from €20 to €30 one way. Beautiful property but you quickly feel like it’s costly pain in the ass to get anywhere. You may love it, but we’d sacrifice the views of the sea and stay in town next time.
