It's about 20 minutes walk to get to the centre.

Room was spacious and reasonably clean, but the bed was very uncomfortable. I barely slept.

Check in was not good. Phone was ringing in reception with no one there. Eventually receptionist came & disinterestedly checked us in giving no information about our stay. The room was very unpleasant, like something out of The Shining! One electrical socket in the entire place apart from the TV which had no remote! Bathroom was dingy with cigarette burns all along the shelf under the mirror. Came back to Bologna 4 days later for a couple of days & avoided that accommodation. No way would I recommend a nor ever stay there again.

Very clean, spacious room. Nice breakfast, with a lot of choice. Easily reached by bus Q from the airport

This hotel exceeded my expectations given previous Expedia ratings. The staff are not that friendly and the hotel corridors and reception are very dated but my room was spacious, incredibly clean and in a superb location. Highly recommend booking this as a cost-effective base in Bologna.

The hotel is very old, and it shows in the interior, I also think some furniture on the porch would of been a nice touch. When we initially arrived the power didn’t work, but that was a simple misunderstanding, which was quickly resolved upon notifying the staff, who kindly came to alleviate the problem. I’m not a fan of secret fees When we initially arrived we had to pay extra for cleaning, this was not stated during booking so we had to drop another 24 € upon checking in. I’m not a fan of this, I think cleaning should either be included in the booking price, or the fee should be stated upon booking. But I understand that this is standard practice in Italy, still not a fan of the practice.

The room smelt like cigarettes so they turned off the AC hoping that would solve the problem but then the room got so hot so we changed rooms at night. We woke up and the room was so hot so we complained and eventually had to change to another room!

Very nice rooms

Cozy room with wood floor and classic wood decor and 1970 ish tech panels. Room in 1st floor was generally quiet and spacious. Room is clean daily by staff, but did notice a thin coat of dust on some old panels. Bathroom is spacious with a separate bidet and small shower stand. Bus stops, supermarkets, and some restaurants are within walking distances . Price is reasonable $60-$70/night.

Tired old Hotel.

Hotel room just like a prison cell, stinky smell from bathroom. There is no Iran in the hotel to press cloths. so much noise around the room, the lift is very poor condition, overall experience terrible, the building like retired.

Helpful staff and decent on-site parking area. The parking area and the streets surrounding the hotel are a little narrow, as is typical of Bologna, but can successfully accommodate at least a mid-sized SUV. The room itself was very spacious and had plenty of surfaces for use and storage. Lots of amenities and lots of windows that can let in natural light (with adjustable blinds). We would've liked to be able to adjust the shower water to be hotter, but had no issue with the sink/wash basin tap. The beds were very large and comfortable. Very reasonably priced breakfast. There are also several small sit-down and take-out restaurants within walking distance, as well as a couple small grocery stores. Around an hour's drive away from the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, though it will take longer during the race weekend due to traffic. Also within walking distance of the train station and multiple bus stops. We enjoyed our stay, and the extremely spacious room was definitely a big highlight!

"(...) don't forget to review Grand Hotel Elite." I received this message after my stay. Are you sure you want to hear from me? I'll try not to be offensive, as I could tell the staff were doing a great job trying to compensate for what the hotel itself failed to offer. The entire building should probably be demolished and rebuilt from scratch. We only needed a room for a few hours, as we landed in the evening and had an early morning appointment in town. For that reason, we couldn’t be bothered to make a formal complaint at the time. To be honest, I still don't know where to begin. I’ll just mention that there was something that looked like a dishwasher, bizarrely placed in the middle of the room.

Everyone very friendly and everything was lovely

Average condition hotel. We had two rooms as we were a family of 4. Both rooms comfortable, clean. No amenities in the room. Restaurant only open for breakfast.
