This hotel is 150 years old and you can see the splendor it must have had way back in the marble stairs, columns and some hotel paintings on each floor. The location is excellent and the breakfast outstanding.

This hotel is in a great location. Easy walk to/from Termini station. You can also walk to the Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps etc. Lots of restaurants close by and authentic gelato nearby too. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food which we appreciated. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. We have stayed here twice and would stay again.

No AC in April. Room very hot and stuffy. Bath/shower very narrow, dangerous getting out as there is no safety bar to hold onto. Good location, easy to get around

How Expedia rated this hotel in the "luxury" category is beyond me. This is at best a 2-star hotel, as it was missing some very basic amenities, such as a coffee make and there was NO air conditioning service (not turned on until summer, I was told). All this besides the fact the hotel is very near a bad area (Termini terminal) and I was told by the staff to not go there when night falls. Expedia needs to do better.
