Our one night stay here was great, we checked in late due to a late flight from Dublin, even at close to midnight the clerk was very welcoming and accomadating. The room was very nice and large with a huge balcony and windows overlooking a beutiful garden and courtyard. Breakfast was excellent and offered plenty of of options. The entire staff that we encountered were kind and professional. The only complaint that I have is that the shower head was to close to the wall and I had to stand at the end of the tube that you are supposed to sit back against and felt like I may slip on it and the water would go from where you set it to scolding hot unexpectedly.

Garden and Breakfast was great. Sheets were fine but bed spread and old decorative velvet pillow didn’t look clean. People were friendly. It was convenient from airport. We only stayed one night as a stopover spot.

Disaster, we found bug in the room, reception refuse to change room, when we insisted, they gave us another room with mold in the bathroom and rusted shower cabin. In addition, a lot of humiliation: since you didn't make reservation directly but trhough agency (Hotels.com?) we can to what we want with your reservation, we do not have any obligation you can complain to your agency (Hotels.com?) we don't care, do you know how miserable rate you paid for the room, restaurant is not working (even it was 20:45 and restaurant was serving meal to other guests), go somewhere else ... And finally, I wrote email to hotels manager in order to express my dissatisfaction and 35 days later no response at all.

Very nice place. The room we were in was in the side building and was quite dated. The bed was the least comfortable bed I've been in in a hotel in quite sometime with popped springs digging into my back. The property claims to be a 4 star hotel I would rate it at the equivalent of a Super 8 or Motel 6 in North America. If you don't have a car expect €45 from the airport Marco Polo and €50 to Venice

Terrible customer service. , its sat out in the sticks a bit with very limited public transport to major places. Booked into this hotel because of the good reviews online, we arrived the woman on the front desk wasn't helpful at all, we asked about transport to Venice, which she answered get a taxi to the nearest town and a train from there. cost us 50 euros just to travel 9 miles from the airport, I wouldn't like to think how much we would of spent over the 4 days on taxis we couldn't get into out room until 14:00 which was fine , but there was no welcome at all, we did ask if we could leave our bags in a secure place to walk around to see what the local area is like, which they agreed to, on our return, the lady was on her mobile phone on the front desk who didn't even bother to look up, we noticed our bags in a room which was unsecured, so we left, again she didn't even look up from her phone walking straight past her. Luckily they take payment on departure, otherwise I would of asked for a refund anyway, on our return to England, they emailed me to demand full payment and credit card details!! and stated we had stayed there for 3 nights, weird as we had booked into another hotel straight after. Nice scam they tried to pull. Ok, I can't be harsh about the rooms because we didn't stay in the hotel in the end, but what I can tell you. Poor customer Service. One Restaurant about a mile away Drinks/Food expensive No public transport Over rated

I have stayed in many hotels and Villa Braida is by far the most beautiful. It has 2 buildings. The main building with the reception is where my wife and I stay and it is a beautifully maintained villa built in 1784. It is set on large grounds in the country with extensive gardens decorated with numerous statues. Although we arrived on a late flight, they sent a taxi to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel (€40). Despite our late arrival, the reception was gracious and offered to arrange an itinerary for places to visit in Venice. There is a restaurant in the main building with very nice breakfast including hot food. My suggestion for the restaurant is they expand the menu a bit. The only drawback is the fact that it is in the country. In order to get the Grand Canal in Venice itself, you need to take a taxi (€15 one way) to the train station and the train only 2 stops to Venice (less than €3 round trip). The people at the hotel and restaurant are wonderful and friendly and always willing to make your stay more enjoyable.
