Most of the facility is stated but it’s very clean. The retro future feeling is hundred percent the capsule itself is spacious and comfortable. The bath and the sauna is also very nice. It’s great option if you are man and travel by yourself good deal for $25 per night.

My first time in a capsule hotel, but it was a great experience. Clean and quiet capsule, the communal areas a bit dated but do the job. The spa is great with extensive pools, saunas and steam room. The location was great right in a busy area of Osaka with lots going on. Highly recommend trying out this capsule hotel - it’s an experience!

My favorite Onsen! Its just a few dollars more to get the capsule hotel on hotels.com and you get complete onsen use plus in and out privilege's. There are actually 4 levels so visit them all, including the outside spas on the roof. They also have very good massages. The locals say its best in Osaka. Men only.

Disappointing. First off, staff were nice, no faults except they omit to inform you of everything the complex offers. There is a cafe on level 2 that serves hot food that I only discovered on my second day. This info was not told to me. The place can be noisy, especially late at night if you have a pod on level 4 next to outside spa! I tried to upgrade to a private room for my second night because of this noise but with the language barrier it was just too difficult. I was more than happy to pay more. Lastly, checking out on a Monday morning, they close all the bathing areas between 8-12 for cleaning (found this out upon checkout) 10am is checkout for everyone, why not make the cleaning after 10??? I couldn’t find any staff beforehand to ask where the showers were? The place really does need a deep clean literally everywhere though. I don’t think I’ll ever return here.

Positives: --Cheap --walkable to lots of shopping and transit Negatives: --Very retro, for better or for worse. --The ground floor is a public sauna and you have to walk through the changing area to get to the elevator--this might make some people uncomfortable. --They don't dim the lights in the capsule area and the curtain wasn't the best, so definitely bring a sleep mask. --The pillow was interesting. It was filled with beads and was rather uncomfortable. --The lockers provided weren't very big. If you have a suitcase or large backpack it likely won't fit, but if you can store any larger luggage at the front desk.

Cozy capsule hotel located near Osaka (Umeda) Station. The rooms are private and comfortable but it is a bit old. There’s a large hot spring down stairs, which is very nice but is a bit confusing to check-in. Capsule hotel is the 4th floor while the hot spring is 1st. Good thing the hot spring is included. The area it’s located is a bit shady (my least favorite part). But it’s not too bad. I recommend this place for people on a budget.

Can be a bit confusing what to do at first but once you work it out all is fine. The spa is great and open 24/7. The vending machines are good and offer variety. I didn’t sleep well due to snoring and people walking about. I am a light sleeper so bear this in mind if you are also.

First of all some women attacked me for wearing the slippers over the line before I’d even checked in and shouted in my face in Japanese. Luckily the front desk staff (all 350 of them) were more laid back and mentioned that you don’t wear the slippers inside. After my interrogation about what tattoos I have, i checked in and found a capsule - not my bed but a time capsule into the 1980s. This hotel has genuinely not been refurbished since then, the carpet is all torn and the capsules feel like you’re on the mission to Mars ride. I counted my blessings that I was only here one night. I’m not a fussy traveller, and have stayed in many dumps, but this is the worst capsule hotel I’ve seen. Front desk staff were always polite, helpful and spoke English. What I can only assume were faulty Alarms were going off all night from cabins that Weren’t even occupied! The pillow is essentially a Bean bag, and the same size as one. The capsule is full of temporary fixes and patches. The spa is strictly no tattoos which is very conveniently told after you’ve checked in. There’s no other showers so you have to use this one. It’s not like some spas were I can hide in the corner have a quick shower then leave, you’re on display to everyone, and so my tattoos would have been to. I guess this is a Japanese thing but it bugs me when I can’t have a shower.
