CITAN - Hostel

The staff were extremely helpful and patient and pleasant with my numerous requests for help and made my stay in Japan much more enjoyable.

Too many people

Overall, CITAN was the perfect hostel for me and my group while we stayed in Tokyo. The facility is clean, convenient in that it’s walking distance from the train station and 24/7 stores such as 7-11, and it’s managed by friendly and professional staff. Would highly recommend if you want easy access to other neighborhoods such as Shibuya, while maintaining a peaceful and quiet stay after a long day in the busking city.

Would highly recommend. The property is beautiful and very clean. Staff were amazing and in a perfect location.

The cafe attached the hostel was a really nice to have in the morning. The bartender at the restaurant was great and gave me some recommendations for later in my trip. The location is a little quieter than other parts of Tokyo which I liked. Met lots of cool people during my stay. I’d definitely come back.

This my favorite hostel in Tokyo. I wish I would have known about sooner. The location is close to many subway lines so it’s ideal if you plan to be active while in Tokyo. The staff were very nice and spoke excellent English. The dining area/public area were a good place to rest after a long day of walking and to converse with other travelers. My only complaint and it being very minor is the room that I stayed had window shades that didn’t cover the entire window. This made sleeping past sunrise very difficult. Overall I can’t suggest this hostel enough. It exceed my expectation.

Unusually clean for a hostel. Immaculate bathrooms and hallways when I visited. Friendly staff. Clean beds, firm.

This was the last stay of your 10 day trip. We stayed in hotels before this and those were great, but small. This gave us the option to have a little more space in our own room even if that meant having a shared bathroom. We picked this place because we wanted to have access to their coffee shop , bar and dining as a convenience before leaving to the airport. Staff was great!!

Excellent staff.They diligently worked with the airport to find/get me my lost luggage. Reasonably priced breakfast, drinks, very clean, and in a very safe neighborhood with great transportation options.Takeshi and team rocks!

初めてドミトリーに宿泊しました。 ホテルは清潔・オシャレですし、セキュリティのロッカーも完備されていましたので、想像以上の快適さでした。 ただ客室のコロナ対策もしっかりしてるとは思いますが、ホテルがバーも併設していて、バーは爆音で音楽を流しているし、バーの客がマスクなしでフロントや階段部分で飲食していたり、入口で喫煙したりしていて、外出以外では1階の共用部に近寄り難かったです。

CITAN is by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in!! When we arrived, they greeted us by name before we even introduced ourselves. It felt so wonderful to be welcomed by a team of employees who really cared about their hostel. The hostel was clean (especially important since we visited at the beginning of the COVID-19 scare), well managed, and stylish. The lounge downstairs is awesome, especially when you need a night off from the hustle & bustle. Their cafe is fantastic for breakfast. Their breakfast sandwich was my favorite, and their lattes are delicious. The soaps in the showers/bathroom are locally & ethically sourced, which was a nice touch. One night, a staff member asked us what our plans were for the evening, and the next day, they followed up and asked if we had fun. The employees at CITAN truly go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, welcomed, and appreciated.

Bar, cafe and nightly DJs were cool. What was less cool was the door that was between my room and another room which transmitted sound as if they were sitting right next to me.

Near metro station, has good cafe downstairs. The bed and duvet are comfortable. The female bathroom could be cleaner, the floor towels are always really wet.

Very clean and modern designs. The bar downstairs in amazing. Very quiet but socialable atmosphere.

It is very good for staying. Staff is very kind I recommand anyone who is in Japan
