The hotel was so nice! Specialized in onsen, being located very near to Kyoto station, 10 mins walk. Tatami floor, all the guests must not wear their shoes inside the premises. We love it!

First thing first, the excellent location! From Kyoto Station, the exit directly leads to Daiwa Roynet! The room is clean and has a traditional ambiance to enhance your stay in Kyoto. Definitely going to stay here again when I go to Kyoto. This is the best hotel I stayed at during my last trip. Shout out to the Daiwa Roynet Kyoto Ekimae Hotel team for the superb property and service <3.

So convenient with the direct exit to the underground subway. It was also perfectly located less than a 5 minute walk to some of the the most beautiful temples.

I loved this hotel! Walking in from the intense summer heat and humidity, i was immediately greeted by cool air conditioning and a very plesant spa like fragrance in the air. Staff were excellent and helpful and the rooms are extrememly clean and comfortable. Location was perfect, a huge mall right next door! Becareful when ubering back as there are multiple Daiwa hotels in the area.

A good property with a decent sized room that met expectations. As with many hotels in Japan, there are plenty of amenities. Breakfast provided is good with a mixture of western and eastern options to cater to both needs. Rooms are quite clean and have everything you need. Located close to Kyoto station with a range of transport links, although if you are travelling to places like Gion, Inari, Arashiyama etc it's likely you'll need to take a bus for some of these trips. Staff are polite but not warm in my opinionn There are laundry machines available but they are usually quite busy and sometimes other guests will go out and leave their washing for hours unattended so something to bear in mind if you are planning to do laundry on your holiday.
