Overall a very good experience. I enjoyed my stay and am likely to stay here again. I suggest the lights in the common sleeping area be dimmed 9pm - 7am, particularly because each pod has individual lights.

The room was great, and I was able to enjoy my stay very much. The only issues with it were other guests, who sometimes made sleep difficult, and the air conditioning in the room which didn't really work

Do-C Hotel benefits from an incredible location—right in the heart of Tokyo without being too close to the overwhelming crowds. It is literally a two-minute walk from the station, making it extremely convenient, and the surrounding area is great for hanging out. The sauna is a definite plus, although after a long day of walking, I personally would have preferred access to an onsen instead. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Even those who do not speak Japanese make a genuine effort to assist guests, which is appreciated. The capsules themselves are standard in size, and having the storage area on the same floor is a practical and convenient feature. There are, however, a few downsides. The hotel has only one lift, which can be frustrating as you often need to wait—though if you are not in a hurry, it may not be a major issue. Earbuds are provided, which is thoughtful, as you are quite likely to be placed next to a snoring neighbor. The main negative point for me was the ventilation in the sleeping areas. It felt insufficient, and there was a noticeable smell, particularly considering that many guests store their shoes outside the capsules. Unlike other capsule hotels, guests are allowed to walk into the sleeping areas wearing shoes, which likely contributes to this issue.

Room was good, staff was kind and punctual, spoke good english and very friendly. The capsule is what it is, a decent capsule, good showers just expect a line during busy hours and the bathrooms and lockers were perfect, good space and clean. I give it 3 stars simply because of the duration of 4 hours to have to wait, maybe make it an hour or two for men and an hour or two for women. The other issue was absolutely horrible people on my floor, running and stomping, jumping from the second row of capsules with shoes on, talking lpudly, some talking on their phones, some even had alarms that didn't wake them up but woke up everyone else and they'd go on for 10 or so minutes. This wasn't just locals or foreigners either, a mix of both just bad mannered people. I know the hotel can't filter people all the time but it was so bad I had to take a star off and the time sucks for anyone staying multiple days, besides that the sleeping pod and tbe amenities are amazing, I would stay again but not consecutively.

Good place to stay in a nice area that’s quite close to the station. Would have liked more luggage space, as the storage room was quite narrow. Staff were helpful. Vending machines outside, konbini across the street, nice park down the road, good cafe nearby. Drunk dudes hissed at us outside, haha

Place is cheap and the sauna is nice but that's about it. The capsules don't mitigate the sound well, and there is no door blocking the sound of the elevator opening. Strange policy, you must check out each day for a multi day stay for 4 hours. The elevator is small and you cannot take the stairs which led to some problems every day.

This is absolutely the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. As I have stayed in the Narita airport hotel prior, I imagined that this would be similar. While similar in concept, the execution was drastically worse. To begin, you must take a very narrow set of stairs to get to the entrance of the hostel. This, in itself, isn’t terrible - while it is pretty annoying to bring suitcases in, it could certainly be worse. However, once in the building, you have no choice but to take the elevator. You cannot take the stairs up and down between floors. This is unlike anything I’ve seen before. Especially during times where there is a lot of traffic, you may have to wait a good while just to go to your locker/bed. Everything about this place screams cramped. The locker rooms are horribly small, and the lockers themselves aren’t great either. While at the 9h Narita hotel, you get full length lockers, you do not get these at this hostel. This is incredibly inconvenient given the forced 11AM checkout, when multiple visitors are trying to grab things all at once. The sauna is OK. That’s the best thing I have to say about this hostel. The floors immediately outside of the sauna are incredibly slippery, with only a few textured stickers to get some grounding on. The showers are small with hardly any room to change clothes, and this is also the case in the sleeping quarters - there is no actual change room. The 11AM-3PM checkout policy is ridiculous, as with 4 hours of “in depth cleaning,”

The staff was not friendly the installations were a little bit old especially in the capsules. The locker rooms are next to the capsules so there's a lot of noise going on you can't really rest. The shower is in another floor different than the capsules and the locker so that's a little inconvenient. But for the price I can work with that I would stay again if budget is important.
