What Guests Say About Their Stay

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It’s not the most aesthetic hotel — the lobby is on the third floor, and there was construction on my floor during the day during my stay — but the room and bathroom were great. It had a comfortable square layout, unlike the other two hotels I stayed at in Japan, and was very spacious compared to many of the smaller hotel rooms you often find in Japan. I had a lot of luggage with me and was able to open everything and move around with ease. They also provide some nice toiletries in the lobby on the third floor. I appreciated the small laundry room as well, though you’ll need to run the dryer for quite a while to get your clothes dry (as is often the case with dryers in Japan). They offer daily room cleaning and provide door signs you can stick on — either for room cleaning or do not disturb. When I put up the do not disturb sign, they left a bag with fresh towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, and other essentials outside the door, which was really sweet and something I haven’t seen other hotels do before. The location is super convenient — very close to the train station with plenty of convenience stores nearby. I’d definitely stay here again!

Ginza hotel is not about the inside which is fully refurbished, but the outside. Ginza is an upperclass area and at night ladies dress like a fashion parade every eveningg on the way to reataurants, scenes only seen in Monaco, 5th avenue. Rooms come in european size with king size beds or Japanese style with one side of the bed against the wall. It took me dozens of searches to find a room like that which made my stay simply amazing. Every single interesting venue to visit in Tokyo is no more than 10km in all directions, you can walk everywhere and return by train. Rolex and Tiffany&Co is just 100 metres away which easily gives a sense you are in a James Bond movie. Would I return to Ginza International Hotel? My answer is YES!

I did a lot of research about where to stay in Tokyo, and Ginza was the right decision, since it is a very nice area with lots of shopping and dinning options very close by. The hotel is perfectly located, close to two metro stations, walking distance to a bus that takes you to the airport, close to a Donky store, to Ginza 6, Uniqlo.... it was a wonderful experience, we definitively loved it. Although the room is not that big, it is very functional and the bathroom has everything necessary including those wonderful wc's they have in Japan!!! The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel also has washing machines so you can do your laundry while you are there. Highly recommendable.

The hotel is very well located, close to a metro station. It has everything you need, including an electric kettle, fridge, plates, and cutlery for having some fruit or tea in the evening. The sheets were changed every night. The hotel charged us in advance for the five nights we stayed. The area is very safe. The only downside was the internet, which kept cutting out at night. Additionally, the service staff didn’t offer any tours or directions to local attractions, so we had to figure that out on our own. Overall, we had a great experience, and if we return to Tokyo, we will definitely stay at the same hotel.

It’s tiny by American standards, but if you’ve traveled through Europe, you’ll get it. Ginza is very central. You’re a 15 minute walk from Tokyo tower and the Yamanote line (which essential to getting around). The price was fair. The staff was friendly.
