GRAND BASE Beppu Ekimae

Relatively near to the Beppu Station. Nice, spacious and comfortable for 5 of us. There were 3 double beds. Nice kitchenette and washing machine. Place was very clean and well maintained. Check in is only possible from 3pm via an iPad at entrance. Otherwise a fairly comfortable place for 2 nights.

Room was spacious for 4 adults and a small child.

The cleanliness of the house could have been better, such as area near the sink, and in the fridge, and this feeling was confirmed by encountering a cockroach on the first night, which is unacceptable, especially for hotels in japan

At check-in, the volume on the tablet was so low that it was almost impossible to communicate, which caused a lot of difficulty. Also, a very large cockroach appeared, which startled my entire family. The hygiene of the place is highly questionable. However, the location of the accommodation was quite good.

Very big room, got dining table, sofa, our biggest room in Japan. But no reception, it’s a self check in. No luggage storage before check in. Close to station which is very nice. Our room got washing machine, and bathroom got air drying system, so clothes will dry quickly.

Door didn’t shut well. Needed to close forcefully. Should have been inspected

I enjoyed staying here, but there are some things that can be improved. The air filter in the bathroom had not been cleared in a really long time, if ever. No one has dusted behind the TV in quite some time. I stayed for two weeks, but was only given 1 role of toilet paper and a meager amount of dish soap. The lighting outside is very dim and I was worried about slipping when come back in the evening when it had rained. It would also be helpful to have instructions in English for the appliances. When I checked in, the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke and I never got a response when I messaged the property about this. But, the unit is spacious, quiet, and has comfortable beds.

We did not receive any email notification about instructions and password beforehand. No one try to inform us until we found out once arrived. So panicked and unpleasant experience.

Modern. Clean, spacious, easy to check in and out, perfect.

Like that it's close to a lot of eateries, onsens and mall. The only down side no parking on site but coin parking is super close by.

Great place to stay. I’ve stayed here multiple times and we come back. It is close to the things I want to do. A slight walk from the train station. Recommend for anyone.

New spacious property. Good location near Beppu station. Quiet neighborhood. The deco is rather dark so could improve with more or better lighting.

Brilliant, clean, tidy everything we needed was there for our stay. Facilities were excellent.Close to station and city centre.

The property was in excellent condition coz it looks brand new n equipment was perfect too coz all is advance technology only problem is we don’t understand anything coz everything is written in Japanese which I understand but I think missing is a translation in English to cater other guests which is the non Japanese.,, location is perfect., the check in process was terrible coz was confusing n when we try to call for help n he didn’t seem to be helpful n when we try to call back he ignor us already,, lucky there was another guest who was very helpful n really the one who help us on the process of checking in.,,, n another disappointing thing I when we got to our room , there was nothing written in English so we couldn’t understand anything,, but everything in the room was perfect n we would love to come back n stay in the same place ,, I hope next time we come back the y already have the English writhing too.,,,

Fantastic size in a good location. Everything worked well and the design was very accomplished.

客室は綺麗でしたが、電気がいくつかつかなかったり、ゴミ箱の蓋が壊れていたり、スイッチのカバーも壊れていました。あと、シャワーの勢いが強すぎてシャワーホルダー？から吹っ飛んでしまいました。気をつけてくださいね！それを踏まえても、値段と綺麗さと便利さはとても良かっ

Je ne recommande pas ce logement si vous êtes habitué des standings japonais. J'ai eu le malheur de faire tomber mon stylo qui a roulé sous la table basse du salon. Et là j'ai découvert un véritable garde manger / dépotoir. C'était vraiment répugnant... Cela ne m'étonne pas que les autres avis parlent de cafards du coup. Le mode d'emploi de la maison est à télécharger sans faute, mais même avec, bon courage pour comprendre le fonctionnement des éléments et savoir qu'il faut actionner l'eau chaude élément par élément ou les délais du sèche linge. Par ailleurs, la TV ne fonctionnait pas (manquement d'un pass ?), ni même Netflix (pas de connexion internet) et la poignée connectée n'avait plus de batterie, nous laissant un peu angoissée de ne pas pouvoir rentrer chaque soir...
