The onsens are amazing! The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The town seems to be off the beaten path for most western tourists and is that much more authentic for it.

My Japanese Mother-In-Law, wife and daughter stayed at the hotel for one night. Through the food and morning buffet was good the room was not in good condition. They notice a rotten smell as well as the washroom was not cleaned very well. They actually changed rooms. Also the futon and bedding should be replaced.
