Hotel Alps

We stayed at Hotel Alps for 4 nights with three people during our visit to Osaka. The location was a major plus—it’s very close to the Namba area, with plenty of options for food and shopping within walking distance. There are also two nearby train stations, which made getting around very convenient. The room size was great, especially for three people, and much more spacious than what you typically find in Japan. However, the rooms do feel a bit outdated in terms of decor and overall style. The bathroom included a jacuzzi tub, which was a nice feature, although we didn’t end up using it. The stay also included a breakfast buffet, which was decent and met our basic needs. It was good for being included, but not something we would have paid extra for. The staff experience was a bit mixed. Some staff members came across as very observant—almost overly attentive—but knowledgeable. Others were extremely kind and helpful, especially during a personal situation we experienced, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you prioritize space and location over modern design.

Although it is not a new hotel, the room and the bathroom are spacious. Close to Namba Station and Shinsaibashi. Convenient for everything you need.

Awesome location for everything. Multiple stations, food, shopping, Dotonbori, etc!!! Spacious room. Huuuuge shower and tub room. Tasty breakfast (not Western). Friendly staff. Clean. Will stay here again

Great room, plenty of space and good bed. Breakfast was plentiful and something for everyone. Staff were attentive and very friendly. Location was great in the heart of the vibrant food and market area of Osaka, however our hotel room was extremely quiet.

This hotel was great. We loved the spacious room and amenities. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious as they had both Western and Japanese dishes. The room was very comfortable and I would try to stay at any of their sister hotels if they have any or stay here again when I return to Osaka. Room was clean and well supplied with amenities and water and snacks daily. I recommend this hotel for sure.

Big rooms in a great location

Property is a little old. However a great location for everything. Food, shopping, train stations. And the staff excellent Would recommend if not looking for high end hotel but good location.
