Very nice traditional Japanese hotel within 5 minutes walking distance from the Tourist Information Center if you took the public bus. I stayed in a Japanese style room with ocean view and slept on futon laid on tatami. Dinner and breakfast were included in the room rate, and the food was pretty good (kind of in fine-dining style). They have shuttle bus service from and to Fukuyama Station so be sure to take advantage of it. The welcome drink that they serve when you check in was nice.

The hotel was truly remarkable! While some areas, especially the bathroom, could use some renovation, it was exceptionally clean, and the view was simply breathtaking. The dinner was an absolute delight! Although I am not usually a fan of rice, it was so soft and fluffy that I could not resist having another bowl.
The amenities, such as the sauna and public onsen, were fantastic. If you ever find yourself in the charming town of Tomonoura or even Fukuyama, I would highly recommend staying here.
Lastly, the staff and service were truly exceptional.

this is my second time stay, breakfast and dinner we chosed Japanese style and all great. staff are very nice and room window view is the Seta Naikai. hotel located at seashore and it's better to go by drive.

The Place was a very unique and interesting hotel. With 4 Onsen’s and a beautiful view of the sea, it is really a one of a kind hotel. The rooms were neat and had a amazing view. The only problem is the location, with the nearest Family Mart Being a kilometer away. The staff were excellent from the time we arrived and left. Thank you so much Ofutei Hotel!

I booked a corner room and the views were amazing. The dinner was delicious and impeccable service. Roof top Onsen was nice to sit and see the view of one island, it was overcast with rain expected. I would highly recommend this hotel. Took the bus from FUKUYAMA and the stop is a five minute walk. Fare is 520 yen. Easy to navigate.

Beautiful traditional Japanese experience. Staff were all super helpful, even if english wasn’t always the best they made a real effort to communicate regardless. Rooftop public bath was beautiful. It was the most expensive stay of our trip but included 10 course dinner and lovely traditional breakfast.

夕食は会席料理で非常に美味しいものでした。朝食も予想以上で満足しています。施設の古さは致し方無いがそれを補っているのが窓から見る景色の素晴らしさでした。残念ながら雨で期待ほどではなかったけれど晴れた時の景色を次の機会に見たいです。スタッフの方の対応も丁寧で好感が持てました。またいつか泊まってみたいです。
