A comfortable modern hotel a short walk from Kyoto station. The rooms are well designed and comfortable with a reasonable amount of space. There is a convenience store attached to the hotel and others nearby. The reception staff were polite, efficient, and helpful. A good choice for a visit to Kyoto.

Hotel terbaik nih sejauh yang saya tahu ya, lokasinya cuma 150m dari Stasiun Kyoto, hotelnya mewah banget untuk level bintang setara dia, pelayanan ramah banget, kamar dibersihkan tiap hari tanpa diminta, handuk dan lain-lain diganti tiap hari. Di bawahnya dekat lobby ada 7-Eleven, sekitarnya ada mal yang ada Uniqlo, GU, ABC Mart, Don Q, dan lain-lain. Ada bayar pajak tambahan dari hotel di luar biaya kamar, staff-nya ngebantu banget ngirim koper/pindahan hotel. Semoga harganya bisa lebih murah.

Definitely my favourite hotel in my stay at Japan. Very convenient 7/11 nearby. Relatively easy check in. Fairly spacious room with pretty decent amenities. Very close to station. Everything was comfortable. Great Internet access.

Everything was great about the Via Inn Prime but the pillows. The location couldn’t be better, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, but some unknown reason the have literal bricks for pillows. I wish I was exaggerating when I say they are THE hardest pillow I have ever felt. I even asked for a new pillow from the front desk and somehow got one that was even harder. Perhaps bring you own pillow, but outside of that one oddity, definitely a great stay.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. The location is fantastic- across from Kyoto Station, shops and malls. Many amenities are provided in the lobby and there is a 7/11 attached with an entrance to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

Only issue I had was that they don’t tell you that when you pay for breakfast it doesn’t include kids. Aside from that. It’s good.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had several disappointing experiences.
One of the main issues was having to request fresh towels every single day, even though I had clearly indicated that I wanted daily towel service. This seemed to either surprise or bother a particular front desk staff member, which made me feel uncomfortable for asking for something that should be standard.
The first room we were given had a very strong and unpleasant smell, as if someone had eaten a specific type of food in the room and it had not been properly cleaned or ventilated. It was overwhelming. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, and they did change my room. However, in doing so, I had to give up an upper-level room with a nice view for a lower-level room where I could clearly see into the windows of the neighboring hotel. I actually saw guests changing clothes in full view from my window, so I had to keep the curtains shut during my stay.
On a positive note, the breakfast staff were kind, attentive, and welcoming. Their service was the highlight of the stay.
The hotel is in a good location, but that alone did not make up for the frustrating experience with the rooms and the poor service at the front desk.
