This Hotel was very nice for the price, very big lobby with a 7-11 attached directly to the lobby.
Very nice room, you could watch your laundry in real time on the TV which was great. Close to malls, train station and other tourist destinations.
The breakfast buffet was 20$ Canadian but had so much to choose from and is well worth the 20 dollars. Overall great stay.

This hotel was clean, had nice bed, shower and good staff. It was only 5 mins walk from Kyoto Station so it was very convenient to get around for catching the bus or the train. And since Kyoto Station has so many restaurants, shops and even a dept. store, Isetan, it was no problem to find dinner after a long day of sightseeing.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were spacious, the check in and out process was automated and so easy! They held our luggage for us when we arrived early and it was steps from Kyoto station! Not a lot of dining options around and the ones that were had lines or only took reservations but we did find a really good Ramen place around the corner which was great. I would stay here again!

Perfect home base in Kyoto for exploring and day trips to Nara, Osaka, Kobe, etc. Room itself was nice and comfortable as well. Perfect for resting between activities. Would stay again

If you have high standards for a hotel then this one ain't for you. Fairly comparable to a holiday inn. The hotel is nice and clean but just be aware of what the hotel does not offer/have. The front desk staff are great!

You can go around the corner and be at an elevator to get to the Shinkansen gate at the Kyoto Station. We stayed five nights and the room served the purpose. Breakfast places in the area do not open till 9 or 10, so plan on eating at a convience store or one of the hotel dining. Breakfast was more expensive in Kyoto than all other cities we went in Japan. This hotel has some Western items as choices but mostly Asian.

It is near the JR station and there is a 7 eleven just next to the hotel. Hotel guests can enter the 7 eleven via a special entrance. Sound proofing in the room is excellent as our room is near the lift but we never hear any noise outside.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Disappointed with the amenities offered - very basic. Only coffee mugs provided in the room (no glasses), no daily water bottles. Size of the room was excellent. Pillows rock hard!
