Great place to stay with your family. They provide 3+1 bed for a big family. The staff are friendly and the housekeeping did their cleaning and restocking-freebies job very well. The room size is just right. Sake is served as a welcome drink during our stay every day! The hot water never fails and the sink water is safe to drink. They even provide a bathtub in the toilet. The location is perfect and the price is still reasonable. It is definitely a will-come-back hotel for us. We hope to go back very soon! Keep up the good work, Namba Oriental Hotel!

I would definitely return! Actually, I will be returning to Namba two more times before the year ends, and I booked it all at Namba Oriental Hotel. I've stayed at other hotels in the Namba area and just tolerated it knowing that most hotel rooms in Japan are very tiny. The room at Namba Oriental Hotel was decent and very clean. The bathroom is a bit small, and you have to step into the deep tub to shower. My room had the Lounge access and the laundry room. I normally don't take advantage of the lounge, but this was my first time spending summer in Japan, and it was hot and muggy. My husband and I took a break from shopping and sightseeing and enjoyed the air condition in the lounge, The lounge offered beer, wine, sake and a few hard liquors. They also had juice and soft drinks and charcuterie snacks and pancakes. Definitely worth having lounge access. I don't do laundry while I'm on vacation, however what I really thought was a great benefit is that in the laundry room, they have a vacuum sealer. I vacuumed my used clothes, and a few stuffed animals that I won on the claw machine, it really saved me so much space in my luggage! They had the plastic bags for you to use, and it was free to use! The location is so convenient! Right near everything! Across the street is Dotonbori, down below the hotel is Namba walk, and Shinsaibashi and Ebisu-bashi and the BIC store all within 5-minute walk. Definitely returning!

This hotel is right in the center of namba, and I love it! Very lively with many stores and restaurants around. The area is so very convenient and you’re just a 5 mins from namba station and 10 min walk to dotonbori! The hotel was clean and amenities were great. I made good use of the luggage storage before I was able to check in.The staff were very kind and I would recommend.

This was by far our favorite hotel on adventure to Japan. I cannot stress enough how nice this hotel was. The large room was beautiful and perfect for our family of four. The breakfast was amazing!! The property was very clean. The location was perfect. The laundry facilities were amazing. We were lucky to have a washer and dryer in our room, but aside from that they offer free laundry in the laundry room which is super cool. They have a sort of happy hour for guests from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with beer, liquor, sake & snacks. Neither my kids nor us wanted to leave this hotel and unfortunately no hotel matched up to this one. Definitely, definitely recommend this hotel. We had the room with the two twin beds on the top and the double on the bottom had a little patio on the back. Amazing! Great size. Very comfortable!

So close to everything, including transportation. Staff was so kind to help with luggage forwarding and a lost item that was found. Used laundry room with no issue and luggage storage on site was extremely convenient for exploring after check out.

We selected this hotel in Osaka due to its location. It was nice to have a covered street on rainy days, and could easily walk to adjacent neighborhoods and a variety of public transportation. The rooms, while small, are comfortable. The staff is excellent. The welcome happy hour, laundry room, and luggage storage options are great. Its nice to have a variety of restaurants on premise, and the Miracle world in the basement, while overpriced, is fun. I'd easily recommend this location and hotel chain!

This hotel is in the perfect location of Namba! The check in process was smooth, the entire hotel staff was great. The hotel scent was perfect, we knew this was the perfect hotel for our stay. Especially the bunk bed setup, our kids said this was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed and we have stayed at many many hotels. Thank you for your hospitality, we can’t wait to visit again! The hotel is located in the heart of Osaka, within walking distance of Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, and many other famous tourist attractions. The station is also nearby, and there is a convenience store right next door, which made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Highly recommended hotel. Doorsteps to all the shops & restaurants. Minutes away via train from famous attractions like Universal studios, Osaka Aquarium and shrines. Laundry is free with lots of washer & dryer available. We’ll surely come back to this hotel.

Excellent hotel in the middle of the Namba District. Very useful amenities include 10 laundry machines and the Welcome Lounge. For laundry, try to do your laundry in off hours. Late evening and mornings are crowded. Drying takes longer than washing so dryers become a premium. Several verbal altercations about "who was next" for dryer. Welcome lounge was excellent. Small snacks and drinks available. Room met expectations and was kept clean and functional. Nice pajamas are provided.

Hotel location was excellent! The free lounge with snacks and drinks was a much needed touch. The laundry room is free to use, includes an ironing board, a coffee machine and even an automatic vacuum sealer! For improvement, my only comment would be to upgrade the TV/entertainment package (maybe add subscription services like Netflix or Disney)

As well, many thanks to all the staff for our day to day interactions. Laundry facility, and the vacuum sealer were a huge benefit to us. Very convenient. Breakfast was top notch. This was the best hotel we stayed at while in Japan and we stayed in 4 different hotels in different cities. This hotel had the most perfect location, very large western style roon close to the train station and in the heart of all entertainment, shopping, food, river. The building was on top of a trendy two level eatery with some nice and quiet restaurants, it was perfect. It had a lounge with free unlimited drinks including beer, wine, sake, juice, soft drinks, coffee, tea and some chips and salsa and nuts. It was perfect. And the laundry room was so so convenient and free. And they had a very convenient location for storing/locking your luggage for free in case you arrive before the 3 pm check in time. This hotel was so perfect that it made our visit to Osaka our favorite!

I like the washing machine and dryer next to the hotel. I room are small but clean. Sometimes I see some peoples things inside the elevator like socks. Kind of annoying. I guess people accidentally drop there stuff. Someone needs to do rounds more frequently

This is the first time I've stayed at Osaka, and location was perfect. It is locatesd very closed to the Nankai Namba staion so It was very convenient to go back and forth to the airport. Further more the hotel gave me a coffee voucher can be used right next to the hotel. After the check out I can put not only my luggage but also a back pack because there is a locker. Most hotels only have self luggage locker and don't have indivisual lockers. It was very very useful for me like a person who use the evening flight

Breakfast was good, with variety of options for everybody. The egg Benedict with smoked salmon, french toast with truffle butter is a must to try, they have an amazing staff, very welcoming, polite and friendly. The lounge was good too though sometimes get busy however, the staff always made sure everything is topped up. Laundry is very handy, free to use with coffee machine in the room while you wait. The smart pack compressor was great, helps with easy packing for all your shopping. The only downside is the carpet and room is abit outdated needs changing as they looked tired and old. Otherwise, highly recommend this hotel very close to train station and the most of the main attractions. Thanks to all the staff who looked after us. Arigato Gosaimasou
