Namba Oriental Hotel

Very clean room and the location was incredible. Close to night life and shopping. The major train station was a 4 minute walk away. For rainy season it was convenient to walk under a roofed mall to the entrance of the hotel.

The rooms are outdated and not super clean. The staff are helpful enough. The buffet breakfast is decent. The laundry room is super clean and new.

I love the area, its super convenient to restaurant, shopping place and dotonbori. I love the breakfast selection And the laundry was so usefuIl.think there's 3 don Quijote in the area. Will definitely check in here again.

Awesome hotel and location is the best for those who want to explore the Namba area. It was very family-friendly and trendy hotel.

The laundry room was extremely useful and the vacuum packing machine was a plus. The room was a bit tight but it’s probably because we had 3 beds. Location of the hotel was convenient for food and shopping. The only negative about the location was the noise and sensory overload once you step outside. Overall we were happy.

Perfect Location! Restaurants, shopping, and transportation are available all around.

Namba Oriental Hotel's best part is the location, central, middle of the buzz and very dynamic, you step out into a video game literally! I liked the cleanliness of the room, the hotel staff and the laundry facilities as well as breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was great. Location is right in the middle of the shopping/eating district. Super convenient. Rooms are big by Japanese standard. Ie. You have room to actually open your suitcase. Breakfast has a lot of variety, fresh, and yummy. Laundry is free and plentiful. Many hotel that has laundry usually only comes with 2 or 3 washers and mostly occupied. This hotel has about 12! So laundry not a problem. Even bettee, they have free coffee available in the laundry room if you need to wait. Also they have a vacuum pack machine to help squeeze your clothing to create extra space in your suitcase, something very important when you come to Japan. To top ot off, they have an executive lounge with free snacks and drinks (including alcohol) for all hotel guests. This is something usually reserved for top tier hotel guests. So after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping, its always a nice welcome to have a little cup of drink and rest. If I have to really think of any negative thing, is that this hotel doesnt have direct street access, so if you are taking a taxi or private transport, you will need to walk to the streets (only about 50m anyway). Also this hotel has a bit of history, although its recently beinh renovated, it may not be as modern as some of the newly built one. But personally I like these kind of classic hotels.

This was the best hotel I’ve ever been to. Great options for breakfast, staff were super friendly and accommodating. Location was excellent, overall an amazing place to stay.
