The hotel was close to the Kyoto train station, which was very convenient. Staff were welcoming and were helpful when there was a room change. The rooms were clean and tidy.

This hotel was clean and so nicely decorated. It is pocket sized but we loved our first stay for our Japan vacation! The staff were welcoming and helpful and the amenity bar was a perfect touch. Location was convenient for all the Ueno sites. Would recommend!

Simply perfect! The hotel is incredible, the rooms are spacious, the location is ideal and very close to Kyoto Station on the south side, the breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious and varied, and the staff is super welcoming and friendly. We loved our 7‑night stay and will recommend it to our loved ones, and we’ll be back if we return to Kyoto!

It was a nice hotel. Room set up was a bit awkward for 3 people. The AC was unable to be controlled properly. It was too cold or not at all
