I did not have a great experience during my one night stay. I do want to mention the staff were very friendly, and the employee working that evening was doing her best to help everyone while managing the front desk alone. When I arrived, the room was warm so I turned on the A/C and left for dinner. When I returned, the room was 30°C. The front desk reset the breakers and offered a fan but the room only got hotter. I was traveling with my 9 month old baby and asked to switch rooms but was told they were fully booked. I then requested to check out and receive a full refund. As I packed with my baby being tired and very fussy they called back to say a new room was now available and a refund would not be issued as the new room was an upgrade. The second room was cooler but the toilet was dirty and had not been flushed. The TV also didn’t work. I returned to the front desk because I wanted to be sure the room had been cleaned since I have a baby. The staff assured me it had and told me to speak with the manager in the morning to explain my situation. In the morning the manager said they still could only offer a $40 discount and a complimentary future stay. Since I don’t wish to return after this experience, that solution wasn’t helpful. My baby didn’t get to sleep until 11:30 p.m and the inconvenience of switching rooms so late, along with concerns about the cleanliness of the second room made this a terrible experience. I don’t feel a $40 discount was adequate compensation.

We arrived at 8:30. We were tired and just wanted get our room and go to sleep. The front desk person was rude and very disrespectful. She was no help what so ever. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone and if asked will tell them to go anywhere else but there. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was so disappointing that we just left and went to Tim Hortons to eat breakfast. After lying $262 for one night stay it was no where near worth the money we were charged.

The beds were very hard the air conditioning wasn’t working . The bathroom had hair on the floor and there was poop or barf on the floor. I won’t be staying there again. I also found the prices were very high for what you got.

Neither of the two front desk staff we interacted with were very friendly. The bathroom near the lobby had just been mopped and there was no wet floor sign, leading me to go flying when I walked in. The room itself was nice, but the ac spent all night turning off and loudly back on.

The location near the Bay in Sault Ste. Marie was great. We were able to walk over to the Bay boardwalk. Our room was good , clean and comfortable. The overall hotel and room could do with a refresh as it looked dated. Parking was a bit of a challenge and the hotel was hard to find due to one way streets etc in the area. I would recommend this hotel as it was comfortable and clean.
