AC residence isn't what you expect from your normal hotel stay. There is no hotel lobby, there is no reception as it's located on the third floor of shophouses. However don't let it fool you! We arrived after midnight due to flight delays, yet when we messaged the property, we were immediately welcomed at the door. Once inside, we were shown to our room which was pleasantly quite spacious! It was simple but yet so cosy. The room was also really clean and tidy.
Getting around was quite easy as well. Located in between Suria Sabah and Imago Shopping Mall, we didn't need to walk far to both places.
The best thing about it was the service we received. Need 2 bottles of water, BAM, we received 4 in the next minute. Communication via whatsapp was prompt and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The recent renovation works have been completed to a high standard, using high spec fixtures and fittings. Very good location for local amenities, restuarants, shopping malls, etc. The only downside is being located on the 2nd storey, as we had several suitcases. However, the owner was very helpful in carrying the cases up the stairs.

Advantages: This was a great experience, the room was comfortable, the TV service and electric curtains were excellent. Another advantage is the excellent location, quiet and convenient.
Suggestions: It would be nice to have a shelf in the bathroom. Additionally, during rainy days, there were many ants that crawled into the wall joints of the air conditioner and got stuck in the cracks of the tiles, could there be an ant nest here?

The mattresses were too soft. The rooms are on the 3rd storey and there's no lift. But on the other hand, staff are friendly and responsive, the rooms are clean and there are many eateries nearby and it's walkable to the night market and to a shopping mall.

The service here is top notch! Nice area with a local gym you can walk to and get a workout in for only 25 ringgit a day!

性價比非常之高的酒店，獨遊亞庇的首選，聽我說，選AC Residence沒錯了，⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐之選！當天凌晨才到沙巴，然後打車司機在街道就隨便把我放下了，我在whatsapp中告訴酒店員工，他們還特意來接我呢。員工非常有交帶，事前還會在whatsapp告知我如何入住呢，而且房間打掃得很乾淨沒有異味，冷氣很涼快！其實雖然面積小但是兩塊落地玻璃的設計還是讓人很寫意的！地點是在Asia City，前面行人天橋直走就能到太平洋購物中心、菲律賓市場，很方便的！
