The best thing about the resort would be the staff. From the front desk to the ones manning the restaurants, they did a very good job. Very quick check in, prompt services with the food, nothing much to complain about the services from the staff.

Nice place for family vacation during pandemic. Kids can play in beach in front of the hotel if the pool is crowded. Fast food restaurants just a walking distance is another plus.

The hotel has a great location, just in front of a very nice beach. The room is quite clean but a bit dated. We could see some scratches on the wall and dirty areas under the sink. The room doesn’t have good sound proof as we can hear people walking, talking on the corridor and can hear sound from the next door room while staffs are cleaning the room. However, it was quiet at night so we can sleep well.
Staffs are efficiency at the lobby and offer discount for breakfast which is nice. Breakfast was ok, many options with beach view. You can enjoy the stunning sunrise on the beach and walk along the beach in the early morning which was the best thing I enjoy at the resort. Overall, it was still a wonderful get away trip with Hyatt

Property n room was cleanly maintained. However need some quick tweaking eg Tap column was loose n some furniture showed signs of damage. Food at breakfast buffet has good spread but lacks quality eg strawberry or smoked salmon or walnut or hazelnut. Had a good vacation time. checking in was efficiently done by Fadzlina, staff at the reception and to compensate the room was not ready, the hotel gave us free dining while waiting. Not waiting that long though haha. Overall attentive staffs, it was the school holiday season, breakfast was full seating but they tried to accommodate everyone efficiently. Room had nice view of the ocean as i requested. Will come again to this hotel.

The receptionist Fadzilah was very sweet and allowed us to check in early and though we booked for garden view ,she gave us a pool and sea view room.
The breakfast on 18/9 was quite a disappointment, the salt shaker had no salt!!! The orange juice was watered down. Luckily we didn’t have to pay for it as the breakfast was delayed .
The ala carte dinner at Kampung was sub standard.

Absolutely love the Kuantan Hyatt. The team are excellent. Thank you to Emma and all the team. We had the breakfast buffet every day, had Merdeka Dinner at the Coals restaurant by the beach. The boys loved both pools, particularly having a mocktail at the pool bar. Thank you, the rooms were up to date and modern.

Amazing service, food and charming location on the beach. Resort isn't overly large so it doesn't feel overcrowded. Extremely long drive from Singapore, but the routes are enjoyable. Kuantan airport isn't far for those opting to fly in. Will come back again in the future.

Amazing staff, very helpful and kind, food is reasonably priced, beach access is amazing. Room was lovely.
Slight downside: Showers were not hot enough and there was a little convincing we had to do on checkout that the taxes had been prepaid, otherwise a top top experience. Emma was really caring and went out of her way.

Very well located hotel for the beach. Reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. Nice rooms facing the sea with a great view. The only constructive criticism is that some of the hotel is tired, the sun loungers/beds especially on the beach need replacing. Wooden frames are not good and the cushions seem dirty. Also the sand area around them has lots of cigarette butts and bottle tops etc. Restaurant staff are nice if you can get their attention. Food is good and comes quickly once ordered. Should give discount to guests to incentivise them to eat in house…

Was a little disappointed with the services given, the staff weren't that friendly. It was a very old establishment with recently revamped rooms and facilities, and certain fixtures, and some furniture were dated. The breakfast spread was a little thin on choices, even less than the other bigger resort nearby in Kuantan. Maybe because it was rated as a 5-star hotel, my expectations were a little higher than average. The kids' playroom was utterly disappointing. It was so dim in the evening and was pretty rundown. The facilities were lacking, bean bags were dirty, and toys were broken. My kids even complained it was boring.
