Shangri La Kuala Lumpur

I had a lovely stay at the Shangri-La KL. The staff are all wonderful, in the dining room, lobby, room attendants. Lovely turn-down service, and many water bottles provides in the room. Fantastic pool. Rooms are fairly quiet especially given proximity to busy roads, with extremely good black-out curtains. Highly recommended.

Very central and ideally placed for walking around the city to see the sights, shopping and dining, friendly staff and a great service would highly recommend!

Very comfortable stay. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was varied and delicious. Staff were helpful and polite. Good central location.. very vlesn.

Front desk Hao Ren not just made check in smooth also he looked after my whole stay, made me feel at home. Room cleaning was done nicely every day, and team working at lounge was super nice.

Great location. Good food options around the area, and in the hotel. Travelling on business and this is my choice in KL

Excellent experience at the KL shangri-la! On entry the vibe of the lobby, customer service takes you in royally. The buffet is plentiful with local specialities added. We purchased the lounge experience, well worth it!

The front desk - Shermin was super friendly and she noticed and called out on my partner’s birthday and sent a cake to our room. This came as a lovely surprise to both of us. We enjoyed the dinner at Arthur’s and scrumptious breakfast buffet at Lemon Garden!

It takes a lot for me to give 5* but the Shangri-la KL really deserves it for the price. The lobby is a sight in itself, the service is attentive and charming, the room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the city. It was the only hotel during my trip where I was able to adjust the a/c above "arctic blizzard". It's very conveniently located for the monorail and for the Petronas and KL towers. The one thing where there is scope for improvement is the pool, which was very dated and out of keeping with the rest of the hotel. But still, there were plenty of sunbeds (some in full shade) and a poolside bar. If I come back to KL, I will look for a room here first. Can't give higher praise than that.

I didn't received the room upgrade, instead they gave me free breakfast buffet and lounge access. Helpful and friendly staffs. This hotel is within walking distance of Petronas towers and 2 very nice shopping centers. This hotel is a true 5 start hotel.
