The hostel is located very close to the white sand beach, about 700 meters (7 mins walk for me). I booked a bed in a dormitory, it's very clean as well as the showers and the toilets, there's a locker and there're tables outside to hang out. It's quiet here and people are very friendly (staff and quests). A very relaxing stay here

this inn was very comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful. the breakfast was great and clean. the room was comfortable. the neighborhood was calm and peaceful. it was great when you woke up in the morning from the beautiful sounds of birds. it was only a few minutes walk from this rural- like neighborhood to the main street and the beach where you can find a lot of restaurants. I think the room has everything you need in it.

We arrived and our room hadn’t been cleaned since the last guests. Bed was made but there were stains and debris in the sheets. No towels, no toilet paper. Rubbish on the sink and bin was full. Rubbish and hair on the floor. We asked for the room to be cleaned, 3 hours later still not cleaned at 8pm. We approached the owner who apologised and said his housekeepers “keep running away”. I asked for new sheets, towels and toilet paper so we could clean it ourselves. He gave us sheets that were mouldy, stained and had bugs in them. We advised him we would check out in the morning and request a refund for the remaining 3 nights we were due to stay. He was apologetic. The next morning the owner was no where to be seen and one man at reception didn’t speak English very well. The owner doesn’t respond to hotels.com at all. They also have an issue with overbooking from the online system, some people arrived and didn’t have a room. So I would highly recommend NOT staying here

They collected my money and confirmed in the email. But when I went to check in they did not give me any room & asked me to go other hotel, upon their request, when I went to other hotel , the hotel owner asked me to pay money 50 US dollar, which is not fair, I struggled a lot at the night time

Nice and quiet out in the country yet only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. I would have rated the property higher except there was a used contact lens on top of the sink and the toilet cistern overflowed onto the bathroom floor whenever the toilet flushed.

We had a great stay. We were there over the Hari Raya long weekend so the owners sister was looking after us and she was superb. She helped us confirmation a dinner booking we had been trying to make, called our tour company for us and then because all the taxis were not contactable, drove us to the airport early in the morning.
The room is simple but comfortable, AC works well. There were a few ants about but was otherwise clean.

Fantastic location and service! Yati & her husband were very helpful and helped us in every way we needed. They also helped to book tours which were better deals than what we would have gotten outside!
It's slightly off the main strip but is easy and quick to get to pantai cenang.

The accommodation is an excellent value for money place to stay in Langkawi. Only a few minutes from the superb beach and all amenities but located in a local area away from the noise and bustle. The room was a good size, clean with comfortable beds and all you really need for a few days. What makes this special was the fantastic friendly service from Yati and Mas, you were really made to feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was simple but made with a personal touch and very generous, well worth the price. Really good place for couples or families and thoroughly recommended.
