Antelar Casa Destino

Very nice small boutique property with a lovely pool. Quiet location walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Our room was generously sized and was on 2nd floor overlooking the pool.

Beautiful hotel and amazing service

Beautiful, spacious room with a giant rain shower. The staff at the hotel were really accommodating and helpful. The location is walking distance to all of the historic sites, most restaurants and night life.

A fabulous personalised stay, both Daniella and Gerardo were great hosts. A special thank you to Daniella for helping us book our train tickets too. Hotel itself is beautifully decorated and thoughtful towards guests rather than just looking good. Great location - only 7-8 minutes to the main areas and everywhere felt safe to walk around. Thank you for a lovely few days.

We booked this trip on a whim and had no set plans when we landed. We lucked out. The staff were all amazing. The rooms were immaculate and modern. The breakfast was incredible and the courtyard was beautiful. We were only supposed to stay 1 night but stayed 3. The staff gave us great activity and restaurant recommendations. The only reason we didn’t stay the 4th is because we stayed at closer to the Cenotes that they recommended we see. Would highly recommend and we will be back.

Overall I really liked the hotel. Our room was awesome. Felt like I was in a 5 star resort. Dayshift staff are the best. Breakfast was delicious. I believe they are owned by locals and that is a plus. I was welcomed with a refreshing lemonade that was delicious. Restaurants and Centro is within walking distance. I recommend the hotel and would definitely come back.

This is one of the best small hotels I have ever stayed in. The property is gorgeous -- a beautiful blend of historic architecture with modern touches. The staff was always pleasant and happy to answer questions about restaurants, things to do, etc. The location is great too -- slightly west of the main tourist core in Santa Lucia, so a bit quieter, but still easy to walk to restaurants, shops and the Plaza Grande.

Beautiful, well decorated room with high ceilings!! A huge window that leads out to a private balcony with small table and chairs. Room was on the 2nd floor. The bed was super comfortable and had handcrafted pillow cases and runners. The bathroom had high ceilings, beautiful lighting and best smelling lotion. Rain shower with a sweet smelling conditioner I fell in love with. Front desk people were super friendly and helpful. There is someone at the desk 24/7. Love pool and hammocks. Walking distance to Chaya Maya and La Negrita bar.

Absolute perfection. Everything from the staff to the location just amazing, a clean hidden Jem dead in the Centro of Merida. This little hotel is nothing short of perfect, the rooms are HUGE, well appointed with strong internet, large Tv and a mini fridge, room servicing daily. For those who have visited other hotels in Mexico... The Antelar has full size bathrooms with a full size bathroom door. The property is clean and well managed with a team of employees busy behind the scenes, we had the pleasure to meet Mery the hotel manager who could write the book on hospitality service. Phenomenal customer service and dedication to the job and hotel, it shows in the way the staff work with her, very smooth and no drama. The hotel is walking distance to most of the restaurants and shops, literally no longer than a 10 minute walk from everything including pubs and convenient stores. The hotel has parking out on the street plus a number of dedicated parking spots a shore minute walk away if street parking isn't your jam. If this your first time in Merida or your yearly visit the Antelar is home away from home.

Elegant, modern and beautiful describe the Antelar! What a gem right in the middle of Mérida, The pool was perfect and it felt like we were in a secluded paradise! I cannot wait to return to Mérida and stay at the Antelar again! Do yourself a favor and book now!

Outstanding service, beautiful property in great location

Beautifully designed small hotel but with a quiet, peaceful, spread out setting. Great details. Nice pool and comfy beds. Close to Santa Lucia Park and 15 min walk to Plaza Grande. A couple good cantinas in the area, one had a jazz band 👌
