Hotel Portobelo

I have stayed here many times over the years always enjoying great friendly staff. If an issue came up like air conditioning not working, it was promptly taken care of.

Location was great walking distance to main church and other Attractions. Room and bed just like the pictures, beds are very comfortable we got a room facing the street was a bit loud but I can sleep threw anything, so If you can't than ask for a room not facing the street. Staff super nice and attentive very helpful The pressure of the shower wasn't that good but it's nothing to really complain about everything else was great.

Está cerca de todo pero las camas no son muy cómodas y las habitaciones son muy antiguas, no proporcionan refri, micro, cajoneras, ni siquiera una bibla/nuevo testamento, y faltan enchufes.

Hotel was very centrally located, walking distance from almost everything. It’s in a safe secure area. Staff was friendly and the room was always clean.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hotel Portobelo in Guadalajara. The location is truly excellent – it's incredibly central, making it easy to walk to many of the city's main attractions, restaurants, and shops. I especially appreciated being so close to the historic center. The hotel itself offers great value for the price. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. I found the service to be a real highlight of my stay. The hotel also offers convenient amenities such as free Wi-Fi and parking. While I didn't have the chance to dine at the restaurant, I heard positive feedback from other guests. Overall, Hotel Portobelo is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a well-located, comfortable, and affordable hotel in the heart of Guadalajara. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again on a future visit.

Very nice staff. I asked to move rooms because the first night I had trouble sleeping in the room near all of the traffic (busy street). After changing rooms it was great.

Great stay!

En general, es un hotel céntrico y bien ubicado en la zona centro, tranquilo, limpio y seguro. Solo tuvimos algunos inconvenientes con el burro para planchar, ya que esté, no contaba con su funda protectora, la señal del televisor es mala y cabe mencionar que parte importante del servicio; es la atención al huésped con calidez.

I always stay in this location for many reasons near bars near delicious tacos Oxxo I. The corner , I had purchased food that needed to refrigerate an where kind in keeping it in the refrigerator for me , Karla was amazing ..

Good hotel and super organised and helpful staff

I loved staying here while visiting Guadalahara. Perfect location! Amazing value for the price paid. My room was facing the main road and park, which I enjoyed a lot. But the rooms facing the back are quieter (and darker).

Very convenient location, close to historical center 5-8 minutes walk distance, door front metro station, best of reasonably priced, 24 hour restaurant/room service of authentic Mexico food😀
