Merrakech is a pretty overwhelming experience to a first timer and it takes a bit to adjust to. Coming to this riad was an oasis of calm and very relaxing. The staff were wonderful and helped us organize a tour to the Atlas mountains- and calmed us down on the first morning since the alleyways and streets are so confusing. (You should get the transfer to and from the airport too as it is very well worth it - especially at night). Maps.me app is ideal since it doesn't require any data in use and once we got it on my phone we were all set to explore. We also had a paper map given by the riad just in case. The included breakfast and the optional dinners we got (tajine) were off the charts fantastic. The riad was by far the best part of our visit.

Lovely staff and owners, Muslim is a credit to the riad! All are very welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast is a must, the riad is easy to find if you follow the instructions given. Just a few minutes away from the square but perfectly tranquil. Perfect place for families with young children. Thank you Ahmed, Marie and Muslim for making our stay so enjoyable.

We had a lovely stay in this Riad!! The service was very friendly and attentive. They were super helpful and always smiling :) breakfast pancakes were great! As with any Riad, it was a bit noisy but didn’t keep us up or anything. The courtyard was really lovely to have breakfast in!

We were very disappointed when we realized that we had to pay 10 times more for city tax. Expedia said it is 2.5 MAD per person/night although it was 25 MAD! We checked it and the riad was right about this, so Expedia made a mistake. But this was the smaller problem... It was really unfair from the Riad that thy DID NOT have a pool. 5 of us chose this riad because of the nice pool as the pictures showed a really nice outside pool and the description as well. It was no where due to constructions which is nonsense. We paid 400$ and we didn't get what we paid for. There could've been a notification at least but we didn't find anything. We I told it ti the staff they only said sorry and we were not offered any compensation so they didn't really care. So all in all these made our trip so much worse. I've been using Expedia for several years, I'm always booking on this site and recommending it to my friends. I always trusted what they say but this time it was a bit different. Higher fees and no pool without knowing it...

We loved our stay at Rian Jnan el Cadi! Mouslim and the owners Marie and Ahmed really made us feel at home. We sometimes felt so overwhelmed by the craziness of the Médina that is was so wonderful to come back to the Riad where there was peace and tranquility. Breakfast was great and we had many laughs with the owners, those who worked there and other guests. I always felt safe in the Road. I would heartily recommend staying here.

The trip was great and the Riad was as expected. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home. They even washes and hung our laundry. Furthermore it was folded and out back in our room...couldnt ask for more. Breakfast was in time based on what time we had plans that day and it felt like staying with family. Highly recommend it.

Heel erg goed centraal gelegen, mooie riad.

We were 4 women who stayed here for 3 nights in november. The Riad is beautiful and we really enjoyed breakfast on the roof top. The location was really good. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. If you order transport from the airport, you will bet met by hotel staff, to walk you the last few minutes to the riad. We can really recommend this Riad.

Very happy to choose this hotel, location is bit hiden, but if you go to Marrakesh specially to Medina part that is normal. Place is clean, nice, bed comfortalbe, everything is in walking distance. Youssef the manager was very helpful, flexible and kind, the hamam was absolutely fantastic! It's a must! Breakfast good and enough, small shop around the corner to by water. Wi-fi is ok, need to wait a bit to have hot water but there is, all the time.

I was met by the manager out on the nearest street where cars may drive and led graciously through the twisting, crooked alleyways of the medina to the hotel. This was after dark. Youssef is a friendly, caring young man who is the manager for the charming hotel, which I regard as a boutique hotel. I felt that I was treated as a special guest and felt free to inquire about anything at any time. Breakfast was nice in the open air courtyard around which the rooms are arranged. You could hear the twittering of the birds in the palm tree of the courtyard and delight in the quickly growing warmth as the sun climbed til it could shine into the courtyard. The internet connection was perfect. Bottled water was provided free of charge. I will go back again, given the least chance.
