citizenM Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Best part was location. The room was very minimalist and small. Felt like a motor home. The snacks offered at bar area should be improved, no real meal. Price was good.

Used this place several times. Very convenient for over night stop over between flights. No issues.

We are frequent users of CitizenM at Schiphol and it is always an excellent experience both in terms of the room - clean and well equiped for its size - and the services. The bar & restaurant are very good.

Our room had a modern but sterile feel with simple Ikea-like furnishings. Lights, TV, shades are controlled with an ipad. But common areas featured nice seating areas with tables & chairs. Breakfast was a combination of hot & cold selections alone with coffee & juices. Nice location within walking distance from the airport.

Very nice hotel convenient to AMS airport!

Helpful staff greeted us. We were given our room immediately, even though we were well before check-in time. Breakfast was very good.

Bed was walled on 3 sides so quite awkward for the person sleeping on the inside of the bed and shelving / storage is very minimal but rooms are clean, safe and quiet. Staff are polite and professional.

Was surprised at the price for what you received, most places have coffee in the room. We had to help ourselves to our own cup's for the room. The rooms looked like a row of lockers. Won't book this hotel again. Also we put in the right days for our booking through Expedia and the dates were wrong took me a week to get a hold of the hotel and Expedia to correct. The room for one night cost us over $500.00. Thanks to Expedia for adding $157.00.

Our toilet did not flush. Called someone, could not get it to work. Got a bucket to flush. In the morning asked for a free breakfast as compensation and it was provided. Fair deal we thought. Toilet that does not flush is a bit of an inconvenience.

An interesting hotel. Very convenient to the airport, only about a four minute walk. It is quirky though but in a good way. Small rooms and when you enter you enter what is essentially the bathroom. Toilet and shower are enclosed by what would best be described as pod type sliding doors. Loved how the shower had a sign saying “shower turned on by naked people” meaning you had to be in the shower with the pod closed for the water to run. I was traveling by myself so it all worked for me. Not sure, however, if it would work for a couple traveling. But overall, it was a fun experience and I would return (if traveling by myself.)

Great for the airport and with very friendly staff. Room was comfy though bed being against the wall could be tricky for some.

service was lovely, had some issues with the adapter as it’s European but didn’t had same problem at Hilton. place is pretty small but it’s aight

Expect small rooms; e.g. the king size bed, goes from wall to wall at the window, no space on three sides. In case you come with two people and have multiple large suitcases you have a challenge to place them, and even more to open them (one at a time).

As usual, this hotel is outstanding band breakfast is worth staying there.

Great place to stay for our 20 hour layover. Rooms are so well designed- small but mighty! So close to the airport and the train into the city too.

Perfect for a quick stay at the airport, walkable from the terminal. Very very clean and convenient.

Great place. Wonderful European breakfast. Large comfortable bed. Very modern with electrical shades and curtains for total blackout. Very young, modern, cool vibe. Five minute walk from the airport and airport train station. Perfect for an early morning flight.

Loved this one night stay during a layover on flights back to Toronto. Granted the room is small, but it's very interesting and functional. Loved the process and attention to detail for checkin and out. Loved the shower, easy to figure out controls and the best rain shower head. Loved the bed, particularly the full bed-sized duvet (usually in Europe you get two duvets for a double or queen. Will look out for Citizen M hotels for future stays.
