Great safe location just north of old city -- 5-10 minutes easy walk to Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum, and near daily varied Concertgebauw performances. Helpful staff, nice amenities. Good dining options an easy walk away, and good city bikes for rental. Get online tickets in advance, esp for Van Gogh

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed visiting with other guests in the reception area while sitting by the fireplace on a cool evening after a day exploring Amsterdam.

My family & I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was a convenient walk to the Heineken Museum, Cafe’s and the Boat Canal Tours. The lady at the front desk was welcoming, provided us with a map of the area and gave us great recommendations on where ti explore. The building is older so be mindful of the elevator and that it actually will alert you if there is to much weight in it. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

This was a great hotel! Small, comfortable and very nice. In a great location away from all the noise. My only complaint is that breakfast is very overpriced for what is available. $22.50 a person. Maybe like 5 things to choose from. The person running breakfast asked if we wanted eggs but that is the only thing she offered from the kitchen. There was no menu anywhere of options to choose from. We then noticed another table getting omelettes. It would’ve been nice to see a menu of what is available from the kitchen.

we had a wonderful stay - the staff were friendly, super helpful and efficient. They provided recommendations (which were fantastic), kept our bags for us until our room was ready and even delivered them to our room for us. The location was perfect for us - short walk to the museums and an easy bus or tram ride for other attractions. We'd definitely stay here again!

Our stay here felt like we were spending time with family. The staff is kind and friendly, they give you your space, the property is beautiful and the location is perfect. The rooms are quite large and the water pressure is excellent- perfect for sore muscles after walking and shopping all day.
10/10 recommend. We will definitely stay here again on future visits.

My only complaint is that the economy room was extremely small. It would be very difficult for 2 people in the room. Even a suitcase was difficult to open- I stored it upright near the door which was not convenient. There was very little space for anything. The bathroom was very nice and it was a good size in comparison to the room. I loved everything else about the hotel. The breakfast was very good, with fresh juices, fresh eggs, many coffee styles, etc. the neighborhood is very quiet and residential unlike nearby hotels that are on busy streets. It is very convenient to walk to the Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, modern art museum, concert gebouw. Definitely recommend the hotel. Staff is excellent also. And it is extremely clean.

We had a 3 night stay. The girl who checked us in was rather slow, but our room was available to us prior to check-in. Our room, was on the ground floor so a little bit noisy when other guests were coming and going, we had a double comfort room, was very small, bed was comfortable, bathroom was tiny, and shower did not drain so you had to turn off tap and give water time to drain. The lounge area was lovely to sit in during some downtime. Breakfast was available at the hotel for a reasonable price and well worth it!

Great location 5 minute walk from museum square. Very quiet with the best of Amsterdam very walkable from the hotel. Close to public transit. The hotel was very clean and the beds and room were comfortable. Our room (we had the family room with 2 kings) was spacious and modern. Enjoyed the breakfasts - buffet style with eggs made to order. One free drink per person from their lounge with an honor bar. Would highly recommend and for sure to stay there again when back in Amsterdam.

This is a very pleasant boutique hotel in the museum quarter. On the upside, this property is within easy walking distance of most, if not all, of the major tourist attractions in Amsterdam. It is a smaller hotel, with a friendly front desk and is located on a quiet side street, but within easy reach of the museums and main roads.
On the downside, we had trouble with housekeeping-they forgot to empty our trash the first day, and decided not to restock bath tissue and facial tissue, both of which we ran out of and had to make special requests to the front desk. This property was incredibly expensive, but perhaps all of the Amsterdam hotels are like this. One other thing worth noting-the bathrooms, albeit very small, had been remodeled and were really nice and new. Overall, this is a pleasant hotel in an ideal location, so I would recommend it.

This hotel is everything you are looking for if you want to enjoy the city and go to rest in a nice and quiet place. It is in the museum area and you can walk, rent bicycles (right there) or use public transport. It is an excellent option, I would definitely repeat my stay here. In addition, its staff is very nice and friendly.
