Via Suites

We stayed in the Via Suites ! Room was excellent and very spacious. Staff at Via went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We are both breakfast and dinner at The Dude, food was very good and good value for money. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff, they were very helpful. Loved our room 535, it was just the matress on the one side collapsed, we did tell reception and they will let maintenance know.

The suite are comfortable, separate from the hostel. The size is okish. However the service is clearly a hostel service. Not a suite service. During the 6 night stays, we had dirty linen, the bed wasn't arranged, the room wasn't cleaned. Even one day we had no towels... The shared reception with the hostel is always crowded and the staff (very friendly and helpful) is more of an hostel staff too. Long story short: it's a hostel suite, not an hotel suite.

Easy to get to, decent budget hotel - would not recommend for the business traveller; however great for a Champions League football getaway or just a city getaway. Could do with faster checkin options. Reception always seems to be crowded?

Spiders in room, no TV ( Netflix and streaming TV was promised with room rate) creepy side building. Restaurant was promised - no restaurant. Stingy with pillows - weird square flat pillows NOT comfortable, no top sheet. This place was not cozy and they don't have their act together at all yet. Not even worth the cheap price.

Nice hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Close to the metro that takes you to the city center. Breakfast could have been better, next time I'd find a good breakfast place instead.

Great location - 15 minutes by train from the airport and 15 minutes by metro from the city centre. The bed is very very comfortable. The suite and the building is very well maintained.

Pretty comfortable place to stay for a few days. Easy check in and check out. There seems to be a hostel for shared accommodations in the next building and there is a shared work space building. Very quiet neighborhood and not much around it...which is fine. Metro is a good 10 minute walk. Loved the heat, big tv, microwave and modern design.

Everything was good except that the bed was really uncomfortable because it was too hard.

Located a little away from the city centre but the suites were clean and ideal

Really enjoyed my time here. It's worth knowing that these apartments are a new addition to a large and busy hostel, and there's also a new co-working space launching next door. Lovely small apartments with a modern, industrial design. High ceilings keep them lovely and cool - didn't touch the aircon even though I was there during a heatwave. A couple of things I'd add to the apartments - a couple more towels, tea towels, a bottle opener and a bit more kitchen equipment, plus better toilet roll, just to give it more of a "digital nomad" rather than "hostel" vibe! Lovely friendly staff and guests, if you choose to go and mix with the hostel travellers. It's all very friendly, but it is a young crowd. There's not much outside space other than the hostel areas - one at the back and one at the front. There's still development happening - so a couple of other areas to sit outside would be nice. The area is NOT central Amsterdam, but the metro is simple and convenient and only a 5 minute walk away, past a supermarket and a few bars / restaurants. Easy train direct to Diemen Zuid from Schipol airport too. Only other small criticism is that the cocktails from the bar were hit and miss - it was clear that some of the staff were making them from written instructions - just a bit disappointing because I had a wonderful elderflower spritz one day, then an undrinkable one the next. I didn't moan because the bar staff are consistently charming and helpful!
