Very close to city center and meeting points for all tours. The room is simple and clean and has everything you need. Staff come to empty garbage cans and replace towels daily. The private washroom is on the small side but it’s expected. The staff at the reception are friendly and kind! If you are coming with large luggage be aware that it’s up a small incline.

My first stay in a backpack hotel and it was great, so much friendlier than a stay in a hotel. Room was fine and had a good shower. I hadn’t seen a message on my Expedia account that you have to go to a different location to check in but the people I was travelling with were sent an email to explain that reception closes at 6pm. Good size kitchen and the tea/coffee point in the lounge area was great.

The hotel was fine for being budget. Has a shared kitchen which is nice for cooking your own food.
However, I discovered after the second night that the room has bed bugs. This should be completely unacceptable for any hotel. The rest of my trip I’ll be trying to sort this out.
The staff are super friendly but that’s about the only positive for this hotel.

Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Small room with no closet or place to hang your clothes, and there was no elevator, but everything was proper and clean, the shared kitchen was fully equipped with tableware and kitchenware.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was good.

from the minute we arrived the staff took care that our needs were met. Having just come from our artic cruise we arrived early but no problem with dropping off our luggage until it was check-in time so we could enjoy already some of the beautiful city of Tromso. A lounge with table and chairs and two sofas were available for those who just needed to collect themselves. Coffee/Tea was complimentary. Our room was Spic N Span clean and the view was to die for...really! A BIG thumbs up to Enter Backpack.

I actually stayed at the Enter St. Victoria. It was wonderful, place to spend a quiet hotel. It is a bit far from the city center and during the winter it is hard to walk uphill but I would definitely reccommend this hotel/chain. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. I had a view of the water and the mountain from my room. The best part was the floor at the restrooms were heated.

We didn’t get this property as we were “upgraded” to Enter St. Elisabeth Hotel due to construction. However it wasn’t much of an upgrade because it was further from city center and we (2 people) were assigned a single at first. Luckily the reception gave us a room with 3 beds. Unfortunately reception is only there from 9 am to 10 pm, so when we needed to check out but store our luggage at 8:30 am, there was no choice. Enter City Hotel actually let us store our luggage in their room, though, so at least there’s something going on with the Enter Tromso chain.
